So I shot into the inside of my wrist(right above my thumb) It got sore & I had a little lump but thats happened b4 so i wasnt worried. About 2 days later my hand has blown up like a balloon, its extremely sore and is starting to travel up my arm. There's no lump...just a red inflamed hand & arm. So IM SCARED SHITLESS.
Ive been using a hot compress & its not really helping. i took some old antibiotics (not expired) and they seemed to help but I only had 3 so that did me no good. Im thinking I have to get to the hospital ASAP but idk wtf to say. Spider bite??? OR be honest?? Give my real name??? Ive just applied for medicaid & am scared if they see this that they will throw me into a drug program. But i kinda need my arm 8(
I also tried to stick it and see if any pus came out but just some blood flowed & then it stopped.
Being this is all VERY new to me...im really friggin scared. I dont want this on my record. i dont want to go through the looks that they give you when you say "Im an addict" But my health is more important.....My question is....Is it in any way possible for this to be treated at home??? OR am i just prolonging something even worse?
I need advice. Im lost here & freaked out. I just checked the arm out again & it looks like I have a ball hanging on the inside of my forearm...doe sthis mean its spreading?? oh lordy. I need major advice here.

I suggest you go to the ER and tell them honestly that you injected drugs which caused this. If you don't seek help early enough, your hand may have to be amputated, which is a thing lot worse than losing your medicaid, right?
 
I like you was afraid to go to the hospital, I eventually caved due to sever physical pain, amd it was lucky I did, because the doctors told me I would have died had I waited an extra day.

This is your life. Dont get caught up worrying about giving them your real name. Take care of yourself.
 
I agree with the other posters. There's nothing we can do at this point, as we're people on an Internet forum.

You need to seek emergency professional medical attention now.

I'm going to close this thread. Get yourself professional medical attention. Better safe than sorry.
