It's definitely been fun to watch, that's for sure :)

In all honesty, sometimes OD would seem a little unbalanced (more lenience towards non-harm-reduction threads about downers, less towards uppers), but other times I was surprised with JC's willingness to observe a thread before burning it. Bravo for that!

The whole uppers vs downers thing is to be expected. Polls show that the majority of BL'ers are into downers, and given the state of the world right now, uppers are the biggest 'threat', so they get a little more heat. I'm just in the minority, which is never fun.

Basically what I'm trying to say is this: JC, I could not have done a better job, therefor, my hat's off to you sir! Good job :)

PS: Can the next Mod for OD be a tweeker? ;)

Keep in mind that I'll still be around. I'll be trying to wean myself off to some extent, quitting cold turkey would be really hard. But I'll still be around, don't doubt that.

But if you ever have any questions that you want concise, accurate, and experienced answers to, you can always PM me.. Though there are a few other people around here who can give you legitimate and safe information. About... 7 of them.

Ha, I see what you mean.
I was dead sober when I wrote that. Thats why its broken into paragraphs and not just one giant block of text. And proper punctuation and grammar too! Although I'll admit, I reread it earlier and saw a typo or two. I hope God isn't watching, he might not let me in the pearly gates if he sees I made a typo.

I won't regret what I wrote, not one bit. I thoroughly enjoyed moderating this forum, although it could be nerve-wracking at times. I'm a rather high-strung, anxious person as it is, so a lot of the time a session of modding OD would result in me having to eat a few mgs of xanax, then I'd just pass out.

Mmmm.... speaking of xanax, thats not a bad idea for this Friday afternoon.... =D

Might i suggest some kind of Subloungal treatment and occasional check-up on the od social thread? Most notorious have beens on bluelight seem to be able to cope with life that way

LOL, I've give that a whirl. Actually, I really will, because I don't want this thread to turn into a 'social' thread. Its for my resignation, goodbyes, and compliments.
If from now on, we could keep it oriented more in that direction, that would be nice. But we all know that there's no taming the OD masses! ;)
 
This place was already moderated the way it should be, and you went above and beyond the call of duty. I heard you talk about your fans so I'm sure you will be missed.

The reason I signed on to BL was to participate in some of the disscusions about other drugs. I use to like reading threads that would go on for pages about oxy, or hydrocodone........beit stupid rants or what not it was good entertainment. Have a good one sir

One more note: The other moderators have been doing what they always do, one hell of a job. It's funny, you and sixpartseven seem to be in a different league than the other moderators. They might never live up to your expectation of greatness but will serve a meaningful purpose to a majority of people. Sonic and genericmind, I am your fan and i love how you keep the house. You two are cool, and that I mean.
