a suicidal friend's lasting words

these are not very long by any means... but the impact they've left are astounding. one of my best friends just committed suicide two days ago... and two days before that he drew a picture while at a friends house. it was two angel wings... and in the middle he wrote:

when all hell breaks loose
and all hope is lost
death becomes life

two days later he ate all his anti-depressants among other pills and drank until he couldnt live any longer.

and the other one he wrote... im not sure when he wrote it, but it was a bit longer ago... he was a musician (HUGE into the metal scene being a huge fan of sonata arctica, catatonia, dragonforce, etc... to give you an idea of his style) and these are lyrics for a song of his:

so i was told by one of my friends that before he killed himself... he had taken a picture of his sister up with him (to the clocktower which is where him and his band practiced, it was like a studio apartment they rented out) and he wrote the lyrics to a song on the wall. just yesterday my friend told me what that song was, so i wanted to check it out. i found it today. the song is "sweet nurse" by katatonia and the lyrics are as follows:

o my sweet nurse
pull the curtain aside for a while
so that I can for once have
the sun in my eye

it's a fine day

then like a ghost at night

this song is very haunting. keeping in mind how he chose to take his life makes the last two verses so difficult to listen to.

I"m sorry for your loss. I lost my best friend on 8-11-03. He doused himself in gasoline and lit himself on fire. He also wrote a song.

Lyrics like

The only one i hurt was myself
I was wrong"

Its amazing how disturbing is is to have someone prophesize their own death.

I took two of his shirts as memoirs.

I didn't realize this until about one month ago
