Got this from Le journal de Montréal, my own translation http://lejournaldemontreal.canoe.ca/journaldemontreal/actualites/faitsdiversetjudiciaires/archives/2011/06/20110618-085513.html

"A 39 years old woman risks 20 years in prison for trying to pass the american border with ecstasy, worth 2,1 millions of dollar, hidden in a spare tire.

A scan of the spare tire, with the help of a portable scanner, warned the border agent. It weighed 27,7 kg too much.

Border agents found 82 sealed plastic bags containing 107 871 ecstasy pills.

The woman has been detained since her arrest, 9 months ago.

According to the US Justice department, it's the asian mafia located in Canada that controls most of the ecstasy trade in United States by sending large quantities by the border."

Assuming they were any good. I wonder how she got them in there, do you think you can just go to a mechanic and say, 'I need a new spare tire, and can you stuff this in there while you're at it?'

^I'm sure the mafia can figure out how to get a tire on a rim!

It said the women looked nervous, so I guess the border agent decided to weighed what she had in her trunk to see if anything was abnormal... they said the spare tire weighed 27,7 kg more than normal.

That wouldn't have even been the right to, even if you did spell it correctly. Damn, irony. You silly.

End of drug war =end of incarceration of a huge percentage of users=end of smuggling=drug dealers and smugglers having to get real, legit jobs=tons of tax money from both former smugglers and users who otherwise be in jail

That's not even factoring in the billions saved annually from NOT being pumped into the drug war or the billions earned annually from regulated marijuana sales. I feel very bad for that women.
