Growing A small inside grow setup

Hey blueworld

I'm looking at setting up a small grow tent in my room. The tent I will be using is 120cmx120cmx200cm. I was looking at being able to do 4 plants and grow Scroggins style with each plant and also building like a individual Scrog for each plant.

So where I would like some input or advice is lighting for the tent. I'm obviously going led setup. Cause it's a bit of a budget setup, I was looking at a 600w led with the following specs:

I'm going to go the soil route. Material plant bags. Looking forward at the scrOg grow as it a first time and got some nice designs to make individual scrOg kits which I think will make it easier per plant.

I have grown tons off Greenhouse and outdoor. Some of my outdoor kicks some indoor out the water. But we do have the best climate for outdoor grow too I suppose

so my shopping list so far;

Grow tent 120cmx120cmx200
4x 7l material plant material growing bags
Freedom Farms Formula 1 medium 30l
Lighting is still being decided on but I have 3 I have my eye on
1 timer switch
Material to build individual scrOg setups for each plant.

My first run will be an auto flower run

A question so long
How high do I hang the light above the plant. What must be the distance of the top of the plant to the light and should I keep that gap the same throughout the grow

The plant will tell you.
If it stretches, the light needs to be closer
If it starts bleaching (stunted growth and turning white-ish) , the lights need to go up.

Distance is directly dependent on lighting, so once that is sorted out it becomes easier to give more exact advice.
Once you get to the point of your lighting being determined; maybe we can help to dial you in better.

Hi folks, i'm in a very similar situation to the o/p.
My main question is about keeping the smell down (if needed), i noticed a lot of the kits are stating the efficacy of the filter, i'm wondering how good they are?

I have the option of venting into the chimmney if needed, although i live in a dormer bungalow so not that high, pardon the pun.
Four plants max grown in soil.

Any tips on keeping the smell down? if there are any.

A quality HEPA grade can filter (with quality activated charcoal) and axial fan setup will knock down most of the smell and will last several grows before needing replacement. Don't skimp and go cheap for the filter in this case!

Wonder why in many pictures, also Fern grower s, use those Purple/ Red LEDs.
Read on the net the White one s are full spectrum, better then the Purplish ones.

Can t grow Weed, or risk street-life, but my LED grow lights for housing plants.
Are Full-spectrum emit White light, have 3 setting s: White, Blue/ White
and Orange/ White. And a volume control + a timer.

They are 5 watt grow-light s, so not ment for Weed, more shadow plants.
So you can place em in weird spots. Energie comes from the solar panel s.
But as i see a lot of those Purple/ Red still, for Weed. What s the deal ?

Are they outdated and are the White whole spectrum better ?

I didn't look real hard, but I don't see a lot of 600 watts in a 120x120cm size.

There is alot of advice and many/many grow channels on YouTube.. I could list a heap of answers to your question, but what works for me may not for you, best way to find out is to dial it in and take notes and have fun.
