In the lonely ocean his mind and heart drifted through another vessel had breached the horizon; he wasn't to know it was a pirate ship disguised as aid.
Plunder the booty of the ships core, strip it of its gold, and when finally it lays gutted and drowning
blame the captain for his foolishness and hope.
When she said I love you,
He didn't know to her love was just another four letter word. He said it because he felt it, sure he'd never felt anything so strongly before.
And the burning, as his broken stern and mast sunk into the dark depths of the oceans vast embrace;
It wasn't that bad.
It wasn't that bad once he realised that they never really shared true love.
