Don't think so - mine was about 2 years out of date last time I checked and I still reached hyperspace with legs to spare

With a pdoc copay it works out to be verrry expensive for me.
Since I have experience with rue as it is, and am comfortable with it, I may take that route.
Besides That,brewing tea in preparation for such an experience is almost ritualistic. Its nothing like the real thing but I feel it gives it a bit of significance.
