1) No price discussion

2) Never heard that name for a quantity of it before.

3) Mescaline is sometimes extracted from cactus, and sometimes made synthetically. The cactus-derived stuff (which is likely what you were offered) is qualitatively different from the synthetic (in subtle ways, not overwhelming ones, due to other alkaloids present. Some say that synthetic stuff is not authentic, others say that the extract has more sideffects), slightly less exorbitantly expensive. The synthetic is a white powder, extracts could be brown, green, yellow, or white. I have not heard of any mescaline products supplied as a liquid unless someone was doing the extraction themselves and not taking it all the way down to a solid extract.

4) Dose for mescaline is 200-300mg for a common dose; someone saying how many doses it is very well may be shooting for the low end of that (or they may not be), but no honest drug dealer (lol) would sell less than 1g of mescaline as 5 doses. I've been offered extract for that price, and synthetic for significantly more.

5) It's entirely possible that what you would actually receive would be weak, inactive, or some random psychedelic RC that's cheaper to produce instead of mescaline. This is the case with much of the product sold on the black market as mescaline - they can just buy a pile of 2C-whatever and mix it 1:15 with the first white powder that caught their eye in the spice cabinet, and sell it at an obscene margin.

Hi and welcome

for starters mescaline is not common at all in most circles. Still, your story does not sound normal. A milky liquid points to what, a half-assed extraction? It would be brownish-green if it is an impure cactus extract, no idea why it should be cloudy.
Liquid is not measured in grams but okay, maybe some kind of extract material is in-between liquid and solid, as in an emulsion?? A pallet is what I take to be a pretty fat pill.

If your friend is really a good friend of yours then go ask him more about it, I don't think there is anything to go on that explains that story more so let him explain it. If you feel you can trust him it might indeed be an okay cactus extract.

I am not going to say anything about the price, in fact you should edit it out of your post because we don't allow price discussion.

^Good points, about #5: that is absolutely true, it is all possible. The positive thing about a milky liquid is that it seems a retarded form to put some kind of RC in, or even something inactive for that matter. But who knows, they might fuck that up.
That it's weak and not at all good enough for 5 people to fully trip on seems more like a possibility. It's not that hard to underdose on mescaline or get an exaggeration on the subject like that.

first off thanks for making me aware of the price discussion issue, novice mistake, and second thanks for being so descriptive and helpful in your answers, definitely makes me feel like i will be a regular visitor to this site. i asked here as details were not positive, i decided to take the safe route and say no and wait for reviews on the product. on a side note, i have seen RC around this thread, what exactly does that stand for? and yes point 5 seems like a very likely possibility considering that 2c variants have been in my area in the past. thanks all for the help.

RC stands for Reasearch Chemical.

Personally for me, when deciding to ingest pure mescaline, i do the extraction for my self on a very small scale for personal use only.

I never trust street grade mescaline. Especially in your case, its usually a tan/greenish powder. Nothing close to what you explained.

Be safe, welcome to bluelight!

"research chemical" means a drug that has not been studied or ingested by humans long enough to tell whether or not it is safe or reliable as say other time tested drugs like LSD and psilocybin mushrooms.

drugs like the 2C-X family or the substituted tryptamines like 4-AcO-DMT and 4-HO-MiPT, here on bluelight your going to get the some of the best information on RCs that is available.

Alexander Shulgin the man who created most/many of these is the writer of two books that detail alot of this stuff and guide our pretensions as we call out and attempt to inform those miseducated about drugs.

Pihkal and Tihkal are the books. here copied to the internet and accessible for free. happy reading!

The good news about more common research chemicals like some from the 2C-X series or the more often used tryptamines is that they appear to be relatively safe from a good number of reports or better yet the absence of reports describing lasting negative side-effects. But always be aware that chronic (long term) effects are unknown, and this is more true the newer the compound is.
The bad news about having an RC sold as mescaline is that it's really not okay to have one of these research chemicals without knowing which one it is and in what dose. If this is the case it's just better not to experiment with it.

Sounds like a load of horseshit to me. It'll just be some RC that a chancer has decided to call "mescaline" cos he can charge more for it.
