Does it get yoou high or not? Lots of people say it doesn't and then lots of people says it does. Wikipedia says it crosses the BBB at very high doses though. I've never tried it. If anyone has had any experience with these, I would appreciate it if you could share. Thanks.
 
There's a bunch of threads (and a megathread) on this topic already. Immodium/loperamide does hit the opiate receptors in your gut. In high enough doses, some people do feel a "body high" off it. It has real use to help keep WD symptoms at bay (the most obvious one is the shits and stomach/GI cramps that come with opiate WDs).

It is important to remember, however, that you can OD on it. At least one Bluelighter (melange) has died from trying to get high off loperamide. IMO, its not worth trying to get high off of. It is worth taking to reduce withdrawal symptoms, however.
 
An off topic question. How does one find out that bluelighters die? Does the family report back with the forum?
