When you delete a blog entry it stays there and says "this entry has been deleted"

Is there any way to remove it completely?

no, there is not. but those posts are are only viewable to you and blogs mods.

if you want to remove the text from your blog, edit the entry by clicking on the small pencil near the title. then delete the entry and replace it with something like "...".

Nobody else will see it, so I wouldn't really pay attention to it.

I don't think that there is a way for you to remove it completely, but if there was, the only difference it would make is that you wouldn't see the "this entry has been deleted" message. Everybody else already doesn't see it on other peoples pages, so if you could completely delete it, it would only be removing that message from your view.

Somebody more familiar with Blogs will be able to confirm if this is true, so wait until somebody else responds so you know for sure.
