a question about a bottle (LSD)

I looked around the archieve and couldn't find anything about this, nor do i have the time to look further around the net for answers so this is a last resort.

My friend is desperately trying to get hold of a bottle of acid.. has found one (off one of my good friends and trusted link..always has quality stuff) but theres only about 15 hits left in it. I have been told that to get the last few hits out of a bottle you need to dilute the remaining liquid further with alcohol.

Is this true? If so, what kind of alcohol? and any further advice?
 
Diluting the last few hits can make it easier to get the last of the material out of the vial, depending on the choice of solvent. You should find out what the solution is now - ethanol, distilled water, etc. - and use the same thing, IMO, but there are very few solutions anyone would willingly use to store LSD that would have any problems mixing with distilled water so that's probably your best bet. The downside to this, of course, is that it can be really hard to say how potent the diluted solution will end up being until you try it out. Let's say there are 10 hits worth of liquid easily removable. Maybe that's about all there is, or maybe there's 5 more hits worth stuck to the glass and diluting will pull most of that off as well.

I've always just used up the solution first until I can no longer get it out with whatever dropper/syringe/etc. I'm using, then do a wash with distilled water and carefully sample the result to see how active it is. I've had vials wash out with maybe one weak dose worth tops; I've had (or at least known people who have had) vials that wash out several full doses worth unexpectedly. With such small amounts of a compound, it's very hard to be sure down to the last dose, especially when the vial may have contained 100+ hits initially - even just 1% of each hit getting deposited on the vial itself adds up to a full hit at the end, after all.
 
There were originally 100 hits in it, and he says it was around 250ug per drop, though i cant be sure of how accurate this is.
I'll probably try and talk my friend out of it though seeing as shes getting it in desperate measure because its her boyfriends birthday next week, or ill at least explain that they could well end up weak.

NP. FWIW, I wouldn't advise against it per se, but I wouldn't pay much more for the 15 hits just because you get the vial that *might* have more than that stuck inside. If the price is right for the actual amount of liquid left, then the vial is a nice bonus but if you or your friend or whoever is gonna be unhappy with the purchase if all they end up with is the 15 hits of liquid and no 'bonus hits' then maybe it's not worth it.

While it ending up weak is the most obvious frustrating outcome, the other danger is that you assume it will be weak when it isn't. I suggest trying a small dose of the diluted solution if you end up going that route, much like people try threshold doses of new RC orders to make sure they got the right chemical. As much as it sucks to expect a trip and end up with little or nothing due to a weak dose, planning for a mild trip and having your ego blown away for 12 hours can be a lot more.... inconvenient ;) At any rate, tell your friend to be safe and enjoy, whatever he decides to do.
 
It turns out the guy has already diluted for him, he said theres about 10 in there so took the price down so thats not a problem. I'll just divide the liquid over 10 tabs or more if it wont fit and we should be cool. Thanks for the advice man
 
I found an old empty liquid breath mint "Ice drops" bottle that was onced filled with very good LSD in and I just added a small amount of tap water, gave it a shake and tried some of it. Seems to be kicking in pretty fast ; ) Always a little left lol
 
^ Careful about adding tap water as it could damage the LSD. Use distilled water or some other consumable solvent :)
 
Use Grey Goose vodka :)

And always give the vial wash away to somebody that you decide deserves a nice trip!
