A Question About 5-apb and 6-apb

Hi there - long story short i was found with a fair amount of 6-apb powder on me by the police (going to a party with friends)

they arrested me and done a presumtive test - interviewed me saying it came back as Heroin (as thats what the presumtive test said it was) - i was kept in overnight and attended court the next day - got bail until it gets a lab test

i told my solicitor it is a legal high (i bought it from proper well known places - offcial 5 and main EU one - etc)

My question is - can or does 6-apb come back as Potentially heroin - i dont know what test they did - is the test innacurate?
and surely 6-apb does not contain heroin....

this aint a joke despite how ridiculous it seems, i explained to them that its a legal high.

It is more or less impossible to know the answer. You're talking about RCs and that means they could have been anything. The police could be bullshitting you, it could actually have been heroin, the test could have been wrong, etc.

This is bordering on asking for legal advice, which is something we don't really condone.
 
goodness me your reply has worried me now....i find it amazing it can be sold so blatently on the internet if it really is heroin, surely cant be though, im hoping or im screwed
 
mate, they were probably trying to shit you up or didnt believe you when it said it wasnt heroin. They normally send this stuff away for lab tests before they can even speculate on what it is. I very very much doubt apb's contain heroine, dont even think r.c vendors are that stupid mate. Just ride the storm, they will seee your not a scag head i expect. Bloody hell, even people caught with heroin only get a slapped wrist these days, you ll be ok .
 
No, the presumptive test is just some moron of a cop looking at it and going "Duh, look like heroin to me sarge. Does anyone want a pastie?".

The test will come back that it isn't heroin but it'll probably take months.

It's quite a lot worse than that - because this fucking idiot of a cop has arrested him regarding a controlled drug that means he can never enter the US on the visa waiver form again. He's going to have to go to London or Edinburgh and apply in person if he ever wants to go.
 
thats a funny coincidence....... thats what im having to do at the moment. Having a fucking nightmare, gotta apply to the poice for my history etc. Costs 35 quid, then the cost to go to london (u.s. embassy.) You have a very good point there. Suppose thats the risk of carrying shit around thou, legit or not.
 
anyone know what sorta presumtive test they'd use - probs a marquis test i gather
i had a fair bit of it on me so theyve charged me with possesion and intent on supplying....just hope the lab tests doesnt come bk as heroin
 
It's too late now, but you shouldn't have said it was a legal high, as that could potentially kick in the analogue act. If anyone gets caught with these things, either make up an excuse that isn't drugs or just say nothing. I got caught with a bag of JWH-122 and I just said I didn't know what it was. They tested it for coke, said it wasn't coke, and nothing ever came of it. But to answer your question, the field tests can be inaccurate and some cops suck at performing them. After it goes to the lab, it won't come back as heroin.
 
yes it seems much more likely the policeman would make a naive assumption, then someone would sell heroin as 6-apb....

nonetheless i don't really know where to go from here. prove you're innocent by printing out the website you bought it from and print out a receipt, explain the situation to the next authority up who is sane enough to listen. i think you should be OK but it might take a little while !
