Chaos explodes all around
The world known, falls to the ground
Wounds of the core reveal
The joy of all they steal
Energy is zapped and drained
All emotions are left to hang
All eyes on a light
Blinded, loss of sight
The dreams are left shattered
The reality is left battered
Hope is thrown to the wind
To caution, give in
While the mind may lie awake
The heart just sits and aches
