I wrote this while listening to a jam with George Benson. Feel free to Critique if you want.

Seeking truth and affirmation
In rhythm and in beats.
Lost in the sound
The guitar strums away pure sexiness.
Lost to the world
Head nods hypnotic.
Constant solo flowing from his soul to fingertips.
Facial twitches of a genius in his element.
Piano black and white keys with organ sounds.
Trumpets blaring, bass rumbling.
Harmony and chaos united unholy yet lovely.
What is heard just the beginning of epiphany.
So much to hear, so much to see.
So much to learn, so much to feel.
Overwhelmed an understatement.
Intensity overriding
Senses lost to bliss.

I am no poet critique but George Benson is a BEAST! You play at all yourself? I transcribed one of his solo's for college (jazz performance major). He is one of my top 3 jazz guitarists. The other 2 are Wes and Joe Pass.

It's too short damnit :)

I like it btw. I just happen to be listening to 1812 overture, and reading the words over it was a fun mix of media, the thing is the piece is 15 minutes long and I ran out of stuff to read too soon!
I suppose that's not your problem...just saying...

^lulz yeah I guess it could be longer.

1812 overture is one of my favorite pieces of classical music. God I love that Russian bastard. Oh and thanks for liking my attempt at poetry. :)

Agreed George Benson is the tits! Yeah I play a little but honestly I kind of suck at guitar. And I am only a little better at bass. Haven't listened to Wes and Joe Pass. I shall put it on my list.
