A place that will haunt me for the rest of my life
I will never go back
A place so dark and cold that even the demons only pass through
A place that takes your every fear and turns it into truth
Facing the twisted broken realness of it all
And you think you can’t take the lies…
Try taking the truth
I will never go back for you
You pulled me into this and I escaped
I know, “misery loves company”
But my misery was in the midst of wicked company
Being alone could not drowned me like your lust did
I reached out for every crying soul pinned in this
But not one touched my shaking hand for replenishment
I tried to give it all back to you
In the dungeons of hell and back
You were only on one side of that path
I think you know where I am now
I won’t run again
I won’t hide anymore
Because you can’t hurt me
I am now more than you have ever been
It just took time to realize the things I now speak of
I am now standing here waiting for you
