that honestly touched me. I can't relate in the same way, but I understand. My dad was never there and still neglects to show up, so I know where this is coming from. If this is in reference to you, good job with keeping strength.

I can relate also. I grew up without my dad,, and then @ 18 i became clost to him,, only to have him die just as i turned 20. But i got to hear those words every little girls prays to hear,, " My daughter I am proud of you" which was so important to me, cause we were never close before.
I hope everyone who reads this,, everyone just not our fathers, are missable,, but everyone in our life. We should always praise the ones we love,,,, and speak love to the ones we care about.
