a night out (Haiku)

Its finally here
Friday has come and I am
ready to escape.
Everyone's busy.
I call a friend to hook up
the goods for tonite.
Enter the club scene:
everyone is anime
but I know no one.
They say there is love
in this candy coated place
but I don't feel it.
Not tonite at least,
I take my treat and head home.
Beautiful lights pass.
The hour long ride home
is a wonderful, wasted
musical journey.
I pull in the drive.
The effects come on as I
enter my abode.
So it sit down now.
Quietly my machine hums
and the screen is bright.
It casts an active
light among the furniture.
I embrace this love.
Winamp visuals.
thank god for the modern way.
This will be great fun.
A night alone but
not wasted. No not at all.
I am content here.

so many times my husband has gone off to sleep after rolling and ive stayed up with the winamp, so i found that very funny.
