I am 25 years old been using opiates straight for a year now. I was one of those that said it would never end up happening to me, but wound up in over my head. I have 2 kids and a wife that deserve a husband/father that is not altered by drugs.
I am weaning off a 100mg IV morphine/day addiction. I am currently down to around 30mg hydrocodone a day and am almost ready to make the jump!
The biggest problem I have with the withdrawals are fatigue. 2 kids both under 5 years old need a father with energy.
I am open to any advice!
PS no one knows about my addiction which is why I turned here for support.

Hi there and welcome to the site.

You know that your recovery will take time and you have already taken the first few steps so don't try and rush things. We have a 'Sober living' section here where you will be able to find a lot of information from other people that have gone through or are going through the same thing.

Good luck with the recovery
