Heroin A million and one heroin questions

Yeah..at this point in my life, im only 24..been addicted for like 2 years. I see this haunting me forever. I do have some confidence I can get clean but I see it being a battle for ever which blows ass. something thats kind of hard to accept.

Word on the streets around here is that 90% of everyone that EVER tries heroin, is addicted for life. Maybe not constantly, but it will always be an issue and will always haunt you. Not a day goes by where I don't think about it. I wish I had never tried it but its too late now. I can go a long time without it but I always relapse, almost everyone does.

Its actually about 24% which is high compared to other drugs of abuse. The rest of what you said is very important though and hopefully will serve as a warning to others.

My friend just bought this for [no prices]
he wants to try h for the first time.
hes going to smoke it.
is there anything he needs to do?
or just ploping it on a piece of foil and inhaling the fumes threw a straw all he needs to do
he does oxy every day around 15mg-25mg at a time and 80mgs a day.
should he only do half?
(this is really my friend not me lol he doesn't have a bluelight)

^For people who meet diagnostic criteria for opiate dependence, the relapse rate is very high and that's why so many people accept all the negatives of methadone and sub programs (obviously they have a lot of benefits, but few would argue its preferable to require powerful drugs daily to maintain sobriety).

Most drugs don't produce the seemingly-never ending constant pull that heroin and other opiates do after sustained high doses. There is obviously a difference between alcoholics/benzo addicts and say coke/amp addicts but largely addiction is addiction, however when you look at the physical sickness plus the long term craving opiates produce, I really believe in many ways opiates are a whole other beast.

Oh yeah I do agree with this. I found it true for myself. No other drug was as addictive as heroin was for me. I just have seen plenty of my friends try heroin and not want to go bat-shit crazy with it using it every day like I was. One friend even didn't like heroin at all, but they like Suboxone (weird huh?). However I did have a few friends who wanted to start doing it every day (even though I told them how horrible the dependency/WD's are), so I had to cut them off.

I figured letting someone try a drug is one thing - if they were destined to become addicted to it, that's not my problem. However, allowing someone else to get addicted is another. Most dealers find their clientele seek out them, not the other way around, so I don't say H dealers have bad karma or anything. I just think if you help your friend get addicted to H and don't try to cut them off, that's kind of not being a friend at all.

I know I got really off topic just my 2 cents.
As for the Californian BL'ers friend, I only have experience with heroin hcl in powder form, no tar experience, sorry.

Hell smoke that whole thing with no problem. The high is different though he might not really like it or feel it as much the first few times.
 
You said you had always quit for the wrong reasons. You should ask yourself this though. The way you are heading you are going to have an amputated limb or you will be dead from gangreen. Would you rather shoot dope and live a short life, or be dope free and live a longer one with two arns and legs?
 
Here's a somewhat peculiar and specific question I haven't seen asked anywhere on this site (or anywhere else, for that matter)...

I've smoked h three times on three different days in the past week, skipping a whole day in between each session. (perhaps an easier way to put it: Monday- heroin, Tuesday- no heroin, Wednesday- heroin, etc.) If I stop this pattern now (i.e. don't use tomorrow night, which is when I would according to the pattern), am I likely to experience withdrawals?

The general consensus seems to be that three consecutive days of usage and then stopping will give you withdrawals, but what about three days of usage separated by a day in between each time? Does it make much of a difference?
 
If those three days were the only days that you used opiates, than you should experience little to no discomfort IF YOU STOP NOW. The every-other-day thing will eventually make your body dependent, ie. you will have w.d's if you stop. I think some people get away with using every 3 days without having w.d's, but how likely is it that you can contol your use like that. I don't mean that to you personally, I mean any person cannot limit their drug use that well over time.
 
wow tar looks fucking horrible. i'm glad i dont have to have to do a chemistry experiment everytime i want to shoot up. word up east coast dope. powder, water, filter, bang... i've seen some junkies in kensington that can buy a bag and bang it while walking down the street without missing a beat. professional zombies.

so, tonight my dad goes out of town and my friends just calls me up saying he can finally get heroin. he is getting it as i type this, so i know its real and everything im actually gonna do it. i have been researching this drug for 4 years now and im just amazed by it, and its time for me to try it. i need help knowing what kind of needles to use? how do i mix it, suck it in, filter it, all that? how long to light it with the spoon or something, where to hit, how to find it. all that. thanks


oh and its gonna be tar im pretty sure
 
Why are you shooting heroin when you've never even tried it? Add acid to tar IIRC, or just smoke it. Use 28-31g 1cc insulin syringes
 
When no more smoke comes off that bitch. Let it run down the foil and you can keep smoking the shit that is stuck in place after the tar slides down.
 
ok thanks. i read about making tar snortable, found this on drug-forum.

Easy, take the tar, take 2 drops of water, and dissolve the dope on a plate/mirror. Smear it around with ur finger till it all dissovles, takes 30 secs usually. Take a hair dryer and dry up the water, the take a razor blade and SCRAPE the dope off the mirror or plate. It will be a powder form now, and depending on how humid it is, will stay that way indefinitely. If it is humid out, it will wthin an hour turn back to tar, but if the humidity is low, itll stay powder for a day or so. This is how my SWIMs GF does it, as she wont slam it. But IMO slamming is the best way.
