I wrote this poem...too say goodbye too a female friend of mine. I unfortiantley loved her...she didn't feel the same. We agreed it was better not too talk anymore....so...I wrote this too give too her but just decided it was best too just leave some things alone. Well, I wanted somone too read it...so here it goes. BTW, I'm really into story writing, poetry not as much. I'm currently in the midst of a screen play.

So this is how the story ends?
With a broken heart, and two
long lost friends? I'm sorry jealousy
blinded me. I'm sorry you had too
watch me kill myself silently. I'm sorry
for what I put you through, I'm sorry
I wasn't good enough for you. I'm
sorry for all the lies, I'm sorry I
didn't call you the night after
I died. I'm sorry I'll never stop
loving you. I'm sorry this is what
we have to do.

wow this really hurts reading this :( im in the same situation with my best friend. I love her and cant see her as a friend, I feel like letting go.

I liked it, well written

Nice poem. I agree with the people saying it sounds honest - it really does. Poems about love aren't usually my favourite for whatever reason, but this surprised me because it had me from the first line or two.

Oh, and the line breaks are great.
