I took 5 mg's of xanax (alprozolam generic to be exact) drank two beers and plugged an ambien. Am I going to be okay?


...and about the plugging the ambien thing... someone convinced me its the best way to do it so... i tryed it... i don't know if the it's all hit me yet but... I weigh 210, about 6'1 and not very experienced with any of these drugs, excluding alcohol. Sorry to be a bother... thaks
 
Yes you will be ok, if you are worried by your drug use however, you should chill out a little.
And BTW, do not drive under any circumstances, you are probably a lot more off your head than you realise, benzos and booze tend to be that way.
 
From experience I can tell you always "look before you leep". Learn about the drugs and whatever interactions they may have before you take them. It will save you the stress of not knowing and in some circumstances save your life. Good luck.
 
you shouldn't die, but to be on the safe side have your friends set you up so if you puke while sleeping you won't choke on it. horrible way to die.
 
I don't think you will puke while sleeping. High doses of benzos generally won't make you puke and the two beers shouldn't do the job either.

This wasn't a very smart thing to do. Why are you taking 5 mg of xanax to begin with? Be more careful next time.

And dear god, don't leave the house.

I just gotta say...

Why in gods name would you take all that and THEN ask whether you're going to be ok?

If you aren't what are we going to do about it? What would you do about it?

This is what we like to call irresponsible and stupid drug use, no offense.

I suggest that you do a bit more research before you start gobbling pills again, next time you might not be lucky enough to wake up.

Yes, alcohol and benzos can (and often do) make people pass out. They definetly make you sleepy, the magnitude just depends on the dose you take. Combining alcohol and benzos can be quite dangerous, as you may pass out and choke to death on your own vomit.
 
Hahaha... yeah... I was pretty skeptical about the pluggin' thing but she kept telling me how great it was. So I told her I'd do it only if it you did it for me ;) I don't think I'll be trying the whole plugging thing again.
Also, I was in a social situation at a party so I didn't have the convienence of asking first before trying all this. Popped one pill... popped another... drank a beer... it all just kinda snowballed from there. I woke up this morning barely remembering half the night and ended up going to work with a xanax buzz still. I'll definately be more careful in the future. Thanks for your feedback.
 
Passing out in a social situation is very dangerous. Alot worse things than an AMBIEN can be shoved up you ass. 8o

I personally never plugged anything but seeing the ridiculous prices for AMBIEN (at least on the legal internet pharmacies) I can see why someone would want to plug it to get more mileage out of it.

I might hafta ask my doctor for some next time Im in just to see why this is so popular (hence the expensive price I assume-then again sh*tty PAXIL goes for heaps of money on these sites as well).
 
2 beers and a xanax (2mg bar) had me puke hard then pass the fuck out over at a friends house early in the night. I had no idea such a small combination would have such severe results.
 
You plugged an ambien? wow, my friends and I have been trying to convince one another to do that for a long time and no one ever has, and these people plug lots of stuff. If you remember your night at all, let us know how that went I'm pretty curious. That has to be a lot nicer than snorting it for sure.

p.s. you'll be fine, you'll probably do something stupid or sleep with someone you'll regret sleeping with, but if you were coherent enough to make that post then you're probably gonna be fine.
 
Well, I don't know if it was the 5mg's of Xanax or the plugged Ambien but I was feeling pretty buzzed the whole day after.
 
sorry quick question....were you taking .5 Xanax pills, or did you take 5mg of xanax total?


plugging ambien is certainly new to me, but hey if she wanted to do it, whos to say no.
