As I walk I know the terrain, yet I still stumble and fall.
I berrate myslef for making the same mistakes.
I should know by now that this path will only lead to heart break.
I carry on.

that path may not be well-lit...
it may be littered with sticks, stones...
bitter words...
and may lead only to a bottomless pit that will swallow you whole...
but what if it doesnt?

thats ok vurt...I like it!!
the last line reminds me a little of one of my fave quotes (which unfortunately I don't know where it came from)
"When you come to the end of all the light on earth you know, and are about to step off into the unknown, one of two things will happen -
You will find something to land on, or you will learn to fly"
I haven't written too much over the last couple of years and I actually din't realise I had posted that until I looked at 'words' a few days later (drunkenness bleh!!).
As for what inspired it... it's about non-one in particular, yet so many people who have been in my life over the last few years. Also, I guess Im feeling a little confused about something thats being played out at the moment and I think that influenced what I wrote aswell.
