drip and drop until I'm wrung dry
just hanin out to dry
hugged and kissed with loving care
and a bloody knife
fed and housed with a beautiful yard
and never allowed to frown
I'll buy up a piece of the sky
just to watch the clouds

and when the sun goes down
in the moon I see you smiling at me
your soft hair sillouetted there
flows across your delicate shoulders
then you put your hands on my face
and stared into my eyes into the night
and I couldn't help but think that
this was my home, in your arms tonight

I closed my eyes and still saw you
and saw us as one
then a burning flame to my face
the unrelenting sun came on
I shivered and dropped to my knees
realizing only too late
there was no one in my arms
no one that I had loved
