A good MDMA alternative for clubbing?

Tranced said:

Could anybody reccomend some decent substances which I could be on the look out for to use when clubbing?

For example, the reason I do MDMA when clubbing is for the stimulant effect and the way that the music and dancing to music is amazing.

yous know from experience I am going to eat my words one day, but at the moment I'm too careless and to intent on having a good time.

Meth.

Don't say you weren't warned though.

When you say clubbing sober are we generally talking about raving sober?

Or club-clubbing, not rave-clubbing?

Personally I dont like going to a rave sober because in my opinion, part of the rave *is* the drugs. Psychedelic music and psychedelic drugs. And no I'm not saying in any way you need the drugs to enjoy the music. I listen to this music every minute I'm awake, and I'm only on psychedelics a fraction of that time.

As for mdma alternatives...someone mentioned lsa and stimulants and I'd agree. LSA shouldnt make you trip balls...but well I'd just make sure you've done it before just incase.

Shit, I go out Wed-Sun and Sat-Sun is when I roll so on other nights it's alcohol, coke OR both!

(It doesn't seem like we have many coke fans here)

take a girl to the club (or whatever gender you prefer)... I have more fun dancing with a girl at the club than rolling... unless im doing both

The problem is that you (and many others) are comparing clubbing sober and clubbing on drugs.

I mean just think about it... When you were sober and clubbing (before you tried any drug) you liked it all very much.

When you tried some drug and tried clubbing on drugs, you liked it even more.

Now, when you go back, and try clubbing being sober... you don't like it.... because you EXPECT it to be like clubbing on drugs. So that's the problem. Do not expect to have all those great feelings that you have on MDMA... and do not compare those feelings that you get on MDMA to the feelings you get while being sober...

The question is: do you go to club to enjoy drugs or to enjoy music?

There are many ways you can enjoy clubbing being sober... If you are really into music and clubbing (like me), you can get high naturally, music can be your drug :-)

I mean, don't be an e-tard who just goes to a party to eat pills and feel crappy when drug wears off.... Don't get carried away with drugs... It can be a one-way-journey.

No chance. This is due to the fact that 1. I can't get it and 2. I'd probably never stop doing it.

Agreed. By clubbing I do mean raving.

The first time that I went clubbing I dropped three pills. I'd been anticipating it for three years.

I go clubbing to listen to music altered by drugs. At home I listen to it sober.

I have been into dance music for about 6 years now and I can assure you it doesn't get me 'high' these days. I have heard it all far too often for that.

It is very clique it seems to challenge those who prefer clubbing on drugs and imply that they are there for drugs rather than the music. There is nothing wrong at all with prefering the way music sounds on a drug like MDMA to when you are sober.

What the fuck is an e-tard?

I always do LSD/Shrooms/2C-I when I party (not really 2c-i anymore, because, well......ITS GONE) and I only do MDMA when I candy flip or hippie flip once in a blue moon...

HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DOESN'T ANYONE ELSE HERE DO COKE???????????????

This solution is, in my opinion, excessively pricey due to its high cost per weight AND its short method of action.
Not to mention the fact that its cardiotoxic...

A colloquial expression for the results of taking too many pills... they spend heaps on drugs, their memory is fucked, can't concentrate, etc.

2ci has been mentioned alot - i'd say i enjoyed mixing 2ci and mdma at the club.

Good combination, rolling and tripping ;)

I used to be like that when I wanted to go out clubbin. Always wanting some pills with me to take while there. But sometimes I couldnt find any or just wanted not to take any and still went out to the clubs. I still had a great time just drinking and the last time I went was just as good if not better then going there on pills. Just goes to show you, you dont really need those pills all the time.

IMO, there is... Yes, music sounds great on XTC, and yes, you feel great on XTC... But actually, that is the reason why so many people have cravings for more and more XTC. They wanna keep those great feelings and they want their rolls to last longer. So they take more and more XTC. When they are sober, they often think about their high on XTC, which makes them think about their next roll and how they're gonna have great time... and they can't wait for a weekend so they can roll..... This brings up the psychological dependance factor, which is a whole another story.

Keep in mind that XTC is a synthetic drug, which means it was made artificially with artificial ingredients by a man. It is not something your body should experience on a regular basis...

Don't get me wrong, XTC is a great toy, but moderation is the ONLY successful way to go here.

You might not take this too seriously, but it changed my ravin/clubbing life.

Learn a dance, and go battle it out in some circles. The feeling I get from this is better then the E, and since I need to be sober to be my best I actually perfer going without drugs (although weed is always welcome). When I started partying every weekend, I realized I couldnt take drugs all the time. The first couple times it sucked, but soon enough I was driving to parties four hours away without even considering rollin.

So I go sober mostly, then have those special events when I roll.

Also, don't try to trick yourself into believing you like to club. You don't, you like the drugs mainly, as of right now. There's nothing wrong with that as I have a ton of friends who won't go out without E. But you have to admit that shit to yourself first, and try to find some legit alternative (not just other drugs) if you want to club without the pills. And you might as well sack up right now and understand that nothing you take will be the same as E in your current condition. Find reasons to love the club/rave experience without the pills, and soon enough you will find yourself having as much fun without the stuff. I have. Hell, some of my most favorite raves were done completely sober (not even alcohol for 5+ hours!).

Enjoy =D
