Benzos A Good, Maybe Even a Legal Sedative Alternative to Benzodiazepines

Last I checked amanita muscara was legal in the US -- they use to sell it on ebay. They also sold poppy pods at that time so this is awhile ago ...

Good Evening Everyone,

Right now, I have "Clonazafone," which is a Clonazepam prodrug, and "Mephenaqualone," which are essentially Quaaludes.
Both are positive allosteric modulators on the GABA-A receptors, leading to significant tolerance development after just two days.

Is there anyone who might know of an alternative? It would be even better if it's legal!
Unfortunately, Phenibut has been illegal in my country since 2023, and I am already aware of Pregabalin and Gabapentin.

Stay Safe, Mana0909
I took a bunch of clonazepam once. I didn't feel like I was particularly drunk or high but I was pretty much incapable of feeling depressed or anxious throughout the experience. I was definitely walking like a drunkard though and my dad noticed it so he knew something was up. Overall I didn't feel very euphoric, high or sedated, just like pretty normal with no usual depression or anxiety. I was like taking a very strong anti-depressant without the side-effects of lethargy and sleepiness. I guess it's an ok drug for depressed people. Definitely not very recreational though.

Be careful with zopiclone and eszopiclone. I was using zopiclone every night for several months for sleep and it began to cause really bad anxiety during the day, and I mean REALLY bad. Obviously it was causing next-day, between-dosing withdrawals. I was using 10 mg one night and 15 mg the next, then back to 10 mg. It was so bad that I began to use other GABAergics during the day (e.g. carisoprodol, diazepam) to handle the anxiety of withdrawal. I wasn't drinking at the time either. I had to end up seeing an addiction specialist, who prescribed me 10 mg of diazepam per day initially, then reducing slowly to zero. The complete switch to diazepam removed all anxiety and withdrawals, because it is much longer-acting that zopiclone, and it was easy to get off it because I was only on it for about two months.
