A good environment to take LSD?

Hey me and my friend have recently decided we are going to try LSD...

My friend wants to do it at this squat rave by i'm scared we will trip badly as we will be surrounded by creepy meth heads and in a slightly unsettling environment.

I said that it would be alot funner if we were to do it at my house in my bedroom, I sleep in a loft room and my walls are covered in colorful pictures.
I was going to cover my floor in mattresses and duvets and cushions and curround it with fairy lights..(keeping the lighting quite low and gentle) and play really relaxing and pleasant music... nothing at all eerie or unsettling!

Whats your advice... how much does your trip depend on your surroundings or yourself in general...

The friend i am doing it with quite a disturbed and subdued girl....

Do it at your home. If it's your first time tripping don't go to a rave.
Or you could drop a benso or two before taking the acid and you can be wherever you want.
 
The best choice if available is a non-urban environment, at least by my taste. It should be a relatively calm place where intrusive drama is very unlikely. In case you are not inclined to go out at all be stocked up on food, beverages, and other things you might require.
 
But i have a phobia of snails. Is there a possibility of me seeing snails.

Do it where ever you're comfortable. I wouldnt advise tripping in public for your first tim either. I dont know how old you are or what your living situation is, but I would try it at home first. If you dont have to worry about pretending to be sober around parents or intolerant roomates, then you should have a great time. You may want to exit the house at times as it feels really good to step outside whilst tripping.
 
Honestly? For me, a good night's sleep, a day of fine weather, away from urban areas and crowds, (especially away from family and friends that you don't want knowing you're high), a park will do, (though I prefer the cemetery), or even your home if the parents are away, oh, and the cell phone turned OFF. I can never deal with that shit lol.

This recipe has never failed me.

Oh, and I'm sure your friend is very nice (I have "disturbed" friends I very much value) but it sounds like maybe "disturbed" and "lsd" don't go together. Lsd at a rave is a mistake IMO. I can have more fun in my bedroom with my headphones:)
 
I did LSD my first time at very large festival a few days ago, was raving on my own in a extremely packed out dance tent and had a amazing experience.
 
Home alone or with some close friends, I live in the countryside isand the setting is perfect for all my trips.

Don't do it at a rave or festival for first time! You don;t know how you react to LSD let alone how you react in such a setting, some people are fine out and about on LSD or other strong psychedelics but you won't know what you will be like till you have tried it.

I just tripped at a festival the other day on a lot of shrooms with my girlfriend and while we are both experienced we both got bad waves of paranoia about people around is which made the trip not as pleasent.

Luckily we just danced like mad and tried to forget but the trip became edgy since that moment and we kept seeing people sat around out tent in the corners and shit later that night, still a fucking ace time though :)
 
I would suggest doing it where you feel most comfortable,So that seems to be at your home.
I dont know your living arrangements but as someone said you may want to go out for a walk or something like that(I love going on walks when tripping.)So if you live at home with your parents just try and be as normal as you can be and then when you get outside just let the trip take you where it wants to take you.
 
you can spend some time in your flat, but the whole trip, that would seem like an eternity... you definately need to get out, are there some nice parks around, or forest... so you caan trip half outside enjoying the sounds and sights of the outside world and some time inside listening to trippy music and cracking up about random shit... and if you're "compatible" theres allways sex which is fun ;)
