Somewhere a baby is born
The mother smiles and cries
Now a single father full of mourn
I took you for granted when you were with me
Ill be right beside you when he lets me
The baby girl, now a mother
Three children, much unlike each other
Sleepy, hungry, grumpy, clothes always lumpy
The house is disgusting, crayon on the wall
The mother thinks without the burden
Life you be a ball
Two children at college, the other in ICU
A drunk driver says, "Im sorry I never saw you"
A mother's special son taken at night
"I took for granted he was with me
I held him until his spirit left me"
An old grandmother on her deathbed
Recollects and remember the wonderful crayon walls
In her mind those days will remain a ball
In her life she created ten grandchildren
Ten different chances to change the world
Everyone knew she was a most special girl
Two Children watch the casket lowered
The event made their spirits much lower
I took for granted she was with me
I'll be right beside her when he lets me
The mother smiles and cries
Now a single father full of mourn
I took you for granted when you were with me
Ill be right beside you when he lets me
The baby girl, now a mother
Three children, much unlike each other
