A Friend Like You

Im sitting here all alone, pondering about using the phone, I want to see, I want to say, but I know it just cant be that way.
We were so close but now so far. Like been face down on the tar, getting spattered by a speeding car.
I hold u close to my heart, hopeing its a real good start, never let u down always hold u near, waiting for the words im never going to hear.
This isnt easy but it has to be said, cos somtimes I feel Im hanging by a thread.
So its time we rekindled the flame, cos when u are friends noone is to blame.
For that is all I want from u, someone for me to lean onto. I know I can be hard, but sometimes I feel Im been played like a simple card.
Just a minute is all it takes for me to feel your warm embrace. I miss that so, a hug is dear, friend is all I want to hear.
I got confused somtimes rough, but in my head I do it tough, I am so strong but sometimes weak, ITS A FRIEND LIKE YOU I TRULY DO SEEK.
FRIENDS ARE GOLD.

It is necessary to cultivate some disiplne of mind,for an undisiplined mind always finds excuses to act selfishly and thourghtlessly. When the mind is undisiplined the body is also and so is speech and action.

bad analysis on your behalf hmiller, seems as though you may have left out the middle of the sentence "im been played like a"
