i found these in a notebook while i was packing up my boxes to move, i dont remember writing them, but i remember what they were all about..
Magic
How often can you say that something is more magical than Disneyland?
Not very often I think
But when those special words accidentally slip out, and you start to giggle,
Take a moment to stop and think about what you meant.

is when you are here with me.
You say that you're going away,
I of course, beg you to stay.
You've made your choice,
Ignoring the longing in my voice
Since you've already chosen to go,
I ask to come, but you say no.
The tears streamed down my face,
while you wiped them away with grace.
You say that I deserve more
All the while you are staring at the door.
As i watch you walk from me
I fell the emptiest I'll ever be.
The lonliness that i felt,
that only you could have dealt.
I could not comprehend
That we had reached the end.
I picked up the pieces of my heart
That you so carelessly ripped apart.
But it felt bare
Without a piece of you there.
I tried to tell myself all was fine
but you never did escape my mind.
Cosmic Proportions
As i watched him walk farther and farther away
I realized that I would never see him again
and how i would miss him- in cosmic proportions.
when the phone rang late on a sunny day
i realized it was over, and also that he was safe
and i felt sorrow in my heart- in cosmic proportions
as i looked up from the bench and recognized the eyes staring right at me,
i knew they you were back forever
and i felt such joy in my heart- in cosmic proportions.
There Was
there was once a person so extrordinary
that no words could grasp how much i loved.
there was once a light shining so bright
in the eyes of this most special person.
there was once a passion butning so hot
in the heart of someone so dear.
there was once a note of laughter floating through the air
causing more bright smiles to make the world brighter
there was once another person who didnt quite know
what the world had in store, but she knew the potential.
there was once a time when these two would meet completely by chance
and they would teach each other everything they knew.
