A few general questions about Oxycodone.

Tonight I snorted 10mg of Oxycodone and was feeling a little buzz. I decided to parachute another 10mg and around 1 hour later I started to feel VERY nauseas, to the point where I wanted to puke.

I'm coming across some more Oxycodone tomorrow and was wondering how I would stop the nausea. Would Gravol (Dimenhydrinate) stop me from becoming nauseas? If not, what could I take to help?

One more thing. I took a total of 20mg Oxycodone tonight and didn't feel all that much. It was like taking a very small dose of Codeine.
I need around 400mg of Codeine to gain a really nice high, and checking with the conversion charts it says that I should take 40mg Oxycodone to equal up to a 400mg Codeine dose. Does this sound right? I rarely do opiates (Codeine 10 or so times a year and Oxycodone maybe 2-3 times a year) so I never really thought that I would have a tolerance. I haven't done Codeine in a very long time either, so I was sure that 20mg Oxycodone would provide a very nice high. I seem to have been wrong.

What dose do you guys suggest? Do you suggest I snort it, parachute it, or take it orally? Is Oxycodone pluggable? Would it be more effective to start off with oral then insufflate some later as a re-dose?

The main question I'm really concerned about is the nausea, but I'd also like to know the answers to the other questions.

Thanks in advanced for answering the questions. I know there's a lot but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I suggest you wait like 3 days then dose 10mg -15mg orally on a full stomach if you want to get the most out of your oxy and not feel sick. Try to avoid dosing constant days, oxy addiction sucks, it will creep up on you fast. Unfortunately I had to learn about that the hard way.

Nausea suggest you did a little too much. I have been on a two month bender on OxyContin and even doing them for two months straight 3 or 4 times i day i only snort an OC 30. I have snorted a 40 and i vomited. I would suggest you stick to 15mg and see how you feel. Snort 15mg then snort a little water, that will add to the highly sought after "drip" in the back of your throat. It will also push all the powder that is stuck in your nose hair to the back of your throat to be absorbed. Your nose hair is there to keep partials out of your nose and keep them from getting in your throat and making you sick. If you snort a little water afterword this will keep your nose from getting clogged and ensure you get ALL the oxy you snorted into you bloodstream. Enjoy!

Thanks for the answers guys.

Would dosing 50mg Dimenhydrinate about an hour before my Oxycodone stop the nausea? Would it be safe?

I would definitely try the dimenhydrinate or benadryl/diphenhydramine (50mg should be fine) a little while before you take the oxy.

I have experienced nausea pretty much every time I've done oxy, so far. It sucks. The worst nausea for me was when I did too much oxy at one time. If I take some diph a little before the oxy, and am careful to not take too much oxy at once, I have been to control the nausea.

Also, I've found that any movement at all makes the nausea worse. So, try having everything near by, and staying in bed or whatever.

I've also tried promethazine, but it didn't work to control the nausea as well as diph.

I plug or parachute... Both ways are the best... I find snorting to be a waste, but that's just me. Even just chewing them up does it for me! Also if you are getting nausea I would suggest promethazine or even a glass of milk helps me!
