A European's first time in the USA

Hello,

I've read the rules and suspect my thread might be a bit on the edge but I think if I pay attention I won't cross any lines. But if I do, my apologies, if you could correct me without taking down the thread, that'd be very nice.

I'm visiting the United States for the first time in my life and it will be Miami during the presidential election. I'm really looking forward to it, America and American politics interest me greatly and so does traveling in general so any advice on visiting the US, or more specifically Miami is more than welcome.

But I also like to party so I'm looking to score some cocaine while I'm there. I'm not asking for any prices or hook ups. Just, in the spirit of harm reduction, looking for advice on how to search for it as a white foreign young guy (I will probably be doing this search on my own). I already found out that I'll probably need to head down to Overtown but not at night because it gets kinda rough at night and I don't want to get robbed or get involved in anything violent.

So, any advice on the American drug scene for a European's first time, like any major differences in culture or habits noticed by people who have been in both continents, would be greatly appreciated. I once met a guy from New York who told me cocaine in the States is a lot better than in Europe but I'm a bit skeptical.

That's already good news man thank you. Without going into detail, can it be hard to find and are there a lot of risks involved? In Europe it's pretty riskfree in my experience. Chances of you getting caught are slim and even if they do you'll get of with a fine (as a user of course, dealers get locked up). The United States is stricter so I'll be extra careful no matter what.
 
Hey, yeah the coke in Miami and south FL as a whole is usually pretty good to excellent quality! In the street if your just riding around in any given low income hood and you have a certain "look" like you do drugs or even if your just a white dude in your teens/20s there are lots of dudes that will approach you whether your walking(which I do not suggest) or driving around the streets and ask if you party or whatever. I have gotten good connects this way, shitty connects that are all talk and never have anything they say they did, and have been robbed a few times not like at gunpoint(still it can and does happen so watch out) or anything crazy but I have been given fake shit numerous times! I usually ask to try a sample if they have something I like and if they say no, then I either just say forget it and leave or I will buy a small amount depending on how shady they are. They will usually give you a nickname to call them by and a number. The most prevalent drugs on the streets in South Fl/Miami are Coke(both crack and powder, mostly crack though in my area),Pharms(benzos and opioids), Heroin, weed, and molly(MDMA or EX pills),which I would avoid as it is very unpredictable ime. Some advice when buying stuff off the streets down in the Miami/South Fl area would be don't be to trusting to people you just met, don't give them any money before you have the product and know its legit, and don't show any sort of fear or be too nice, they will think your weak and just might rob you! Also watch out for the police they are all over the place as they are in just about any bad neighborhoods where there are lots of drugs, they will take you to jail for anything even an empty baggie with the slightest hint of residue on it and charge you with a felony! Keep your eye peeled, be smart, and be safe! Best of luck finding what you are looking for!
 
@Ilove2nod thanks for the advice! Such a disgrace that they'd put you away for buying a personal amount of charly. Ending up in an American cell is something I would like to avoid at all cost. Although my English is pretty good I'm guessing they will realize very quickly that I'm not from around there which I guess makes me an easy target for a rip off.

But rip offs are a minor concern considering getting caught or getting robbed. I'll try to avoid the first by being very careful and the latter by searching in the day and not enter the shadiest corners. I'm hoping to be approached and not having to ask, although I won't have a car so I'll be walking.

If the coke's as good as you guys say it is, then in the case of a rip off I'll maybe get the stuff I'm used to over here in Europe :D
 
If you are staying in a nicer area, like South Beach or whatever, you still may find it there. Its not like they dont party. Ive been to Miami 6 or 7 times. Got coke twice. First time some dude just asked me in some club in some hotel if I wanted and handed me a bag and I gave him cash. It was a good amount but shitty quality. Other time I was just sitting a the bar near the pool of my hotel and this guy says to me Im pulling a Leaving Las Vegas down here. And I say you have a hooker and want to drink yourself to death? He said 4 other people has no idea what he meant when he said that to them and we started talking. We were both from NY area and we met up later that night. He had a shit ton of absolute rocket fuel. It was the best coke Ive ever had to this day. I had to stop doing it because I thought I was going to have a heart attack or some shit. So you never know. Keep your eyes and ears open and be friendly.
 
What kittycat5 said is very true. In the nicer parts of south beach there are tons of nightclubs there where I am sure if you make some friends someone will hook you up. I would be very careful if your walking too, REALLY be SUPER CAREFUL in the hood if you go there trying to cold cop some powder on foot. You are much more prone to get in trouble with the law or get robbed with no car. There are some of the hoodest hoods you can find anywhere in Miami, and if you are an obvious tourist and have a good amount of money on you there is a good chance someone will rob you. Now knowing you don't have a car I would stick with the south beach area nightclubs if possible, someone will have powder you just have to find them. That would most definitely be the safer option.
 
As a European tourist, you should stick to the clubs in South Beach to score coke. I used to ride to Overtown everyday with my roommate to get him heroin and we never got caught or robbed, but I don't recommend that to you. The worst thing that happened to us was getting sold crack instead of H once. The deals on crack there were very bad at the time compared to what I'm used to.

I repeat. Do not go to Overtown unless you are intrepid and street smart. You will be very much better equipped to score at South Beach as a European tourist. Also, in Overtown almost all the coke is crack, not powder.
 
I have always had good luck with asking my cab driver, in Florida specifically. dunno if Uber drivers can help you there (LOL), so go with a grimey-ass Yellow Cab
