I have a question regarding Phendimetrazine and would really appreciate any input you all could throw my way. If it's been asked before I apologize but this is my first post and I'm still learning how to navigate the website. Before I get to my question(s) I'd like to offer you up some background so you know what I've used, amongst other things.
I've been taking the 35mg IR tablets 3x daily for the last 3 years and have had impressive results both with appetite control as well as alleviating a lot of my ADD symptoms. The problem is that Phendimetrazine is a pro-drug to Phenmetrazine and herein lies my problem: The drug is very effective when it has been metabolized to Phenmetrazine (though only up to 30% or less), but it "hits" you in waves and makes me think of how a pro-drug, with an extra time-released mechanism attached to it, would function. When it's "hitting" it works wonderful, both for attention and getting things done as well as appetite supression. But I need something consistent throughout the day and unfortunately the only way that would work with Phendimetrazine would be to take 3x35mg tablets upon waking and then 4 hours later take 2 tablets every hour - and - a - half. Oblviously that's out of the question for many reasons, the main one being my Dr. wouldn't go for an increase in my doseage.
My shrink had tried me on Adderrall (moderately to pretty good), Dexadrine (very good), Ritalin (not good- at least not for me) and Strattera (waste of money). The thing that brought us to try Phendimetrazine was the nice, smooth mechanism by which it causes your brain to release dopamine. No jitters or no racing heart but good energy, good focus and for the first time in ages a nice, somewhat calm sense of well-being..... That sense of well being it delivers is not a "high" or "euphoria" (unless you're megadosing or it's your first few days taking the drug). No, not a high at all. Just a focused, calm state of mind where the wheels are turing just how they should be!
But, like I said before, that comes and goes in waves and I end up looking like a crack-head sometimes because I'll get a project going, get 3/4 of the way through it and just wonder off to sit on my ass and watch Netflix. It drives me crazy and I have two choices:
1) I can go back my shrink and talk to him about it and see about getting back on Dexadrine (I liked the extra CNS energy I got from the Adderrall, so I might ask the doc if I could alternate the two drugs every six months or something like that).
2) Find out how to convert Phendimetrazine to Phenmetrazine OUTSIDE of the body and/or how to make it more bioavailable once in. If it is not possible to make the conversion without ingesting it then is there a way (supplement, food, dietary product, ect...) to maximize the conversion of Phendimetrazine to Phenmetrazine once it has been ingested and to maximize Phenmetrazines ability to stay active in the body longer than normal?
I ask number two specifically because I researched making my own Phenmetrazine and some of the things I would need to make it work, for example a bunch of Phenylpropanolamine, require access to things (some in large quantities) that I do not have. So if anyone knows how to do any of what I mentioned above I would love to hear from you. It's too bad they ripped Phenmetrazine straight off the market here in the U.S. The DEA said it had too high an abuse potential and little to no legitimate use in medicine anymore. I strongly disagree, especially with the second part. For me it's been a God - send (the Phendimetrazine that is), at least when it's "making the rounds" in my system.
