a comic is worth a thousand words

i love how stick figures can convey so much, i <3 xkcd

1. Not hanging out on Digg as much lately means I'm missing xkcds like this.

2. Reminds me a lot of another xkcd that produced an 'omfg' reaction.

3. Whoever writes this comic has obviously missed out on a number of opportunities in their life and is carrying a tiny, little bit of baggage around over it.

4. Today I also discovered that I have the capacity to be aroused by stick figures. =D

xkcd has some brilliant writing, although some of it has a bit of a comp-sci nerd/programmer in-joke feel to it. Still, it really appeals to both the overt nerd and the closet romantic in me.

And yes, I don't doubt that the author has more than a little relationship baggage. He really does express it well though, despite (or perhaps thanks to) the very simple artwork.

Ah, I loves webcomics.

i do not think it is that geeky, i get almost all the jokes on the first reading. altho some of this might be related to the people i hang out with.

regardless, i am amazed at how many of the strips illustrate things i struggle to find words for.
