I have this idea to compile an addendum to the MXE book, a one-year retrospective, composed of reports about how life has been for us former MXE enthusiasts, and how they have coped since the 'MXE crucifixion' last year. I feel like it would be cathartic opportunity for insightful reflection for contributors and readers alike.
I've already begun compiling it from conversations with many MXE enthusiasts who have connected with me since the release of the book. However, I want it to be as broadly representative as possible, so I am asking for your own story- if you wish to share it. You can write it as a reply to this thread, or send me a message for more private stuff.
I'm looking for stuff like 'I credit MXE with helping me turn my life around, and shit is awesome now, and I'm sober!' OR, 'When MXE disappeared I lost my shit, suffered crippling depression and started doing heroin again.' obviously those are extreme examples but you get the idea.
