So sick of playing second best
My life appears to be an unpassable test
No sleep for the weary
No pills for the pain
No light for the dreary
I'm going insane
Watch the sunset sink and fade
As my mind is once again betrayed
My smile disappears
While I recount the tears
One million and one
One million and two
I wonder how many
Were brought on by you
Did you think I was happy
I was doing fine
Then why did you lie
Time after time
So now I feel hopeless
My world is a mess
I'm past the point of no return
I'll finally get some rest
My eyelids fall and take me away
Maybe I should stop
And take a moment to pray
