Give me reason but not for myself
Give it to those who sit on your shelf
For your easy access
When you feel the need
To turn up their soil
And plant there a seed
You nurture the sprout, until it’s a tree
Then it will spread so alive and so free

And so instilled, in people, your seed
The roots takes their hold, and you get to lead
But to what end, and to what ultimate use?
Plant not in me your seed of abuse…

So many minds, have not seen the light
The day or the air, only the night
Closed are there thoughts, sealed off from another
Even from one whom we call the Mother.
For she to yearns with a need
To plant her own seed…
Now I just hope, than we learn to heed.

This is definitely one of the better rhyming works I've read in a while, the tempo of it makes it easy to read while above and beyond that, it possess deeper significance and eloquence. Good effort. :)
