I wrote most of this stuff within the last six months or so, but never posted it on bluelight.....so here goes!

(Note: I was going to edit this first poem, but then I realized that anything I tried to write now wouldn't fit, as I wouldn't be in the same odd state of mind I was in when I first wrote this)

_title_

you will writhe in your prison in your chains
while inventing a million superstitions
as you realize reality while feeling imaginary
the fey folk and hobgoblins exist in that boundless place
hidden behind the darkness in your mind
just as real as they ever were; lying in wait somewhere beyond time
you are with the wise owl god who knows much but has no music

boredom isn't here if you see the connections upon connections
puzzle pieces painstakingly put perpendicular--paths past primordial pantheons paved--perplexing?
poo!--primordial pantheons paved paths past

perfumed pixies cherry cheeked cherubim

An Untitled Poem

I want to sail underneath the moon
Floating free
With someone by my side

We'll see the lions in Africa
And the elephants of India
And then an arduous trek
To the ruined steeples of a forgotten civilization
Where we will read the glyphs of a dead language
And gape at the nude statues

Then we'll retire for a while
To have afternoon tea, steeped in secrets
With rabbits and angels and giraffes
Serving us scones

Next
The blocks and columns of Rome will stand erect
Reassembled in our minds
As our guide tells tales of heros of old
And leads us through the grand ruins
And then a flock of geese
Will fly us away to Spain

Where the holy sanctuaries of Cordoba
Tell stories of two great religions
To our attentive eyes & minds
While the faithful sing exaltations to their Lord
Carrying us up and out with them

Later we arrive at a sandy resort
Where the fine wines of France flow giddily into our glasses
As we sit drunkenly
Awaiting foods still finer

And at last we lie still
A tangle of limbs in a downy bed
Dreaming of myths and legends

The Invisible Empire National Anthem

Oh sing the praise of drugs
My mood you lift at once
The days you make worthwhile
The nights you sate my lust

You've come to be enlightened
And light you up they will
We smokes the smoke
From toke to toke
And merrily make we will

Chilly

Chilly,
Cold
Outside in the world
Feeling rather old
The soft grass has become
The brittle grass of winter
No cushiony moss, gentle to the feet
Just an icy frost, it crunches underneath

de-commodification

Smash the cell phones, TVs, and tools of distraction
Symptoms of a man-made disease, dissatisfaction
Broken bonds between work & play
Social fragments that could be whole one day
Were it not for overachieving yuppies, trophy wives on display
Can you understand my dismay?
Looking at a world full of back aches & stress
Like no one's thought to make life palatable

Dachau

Get off the dock at Dachau
Catch a wave at Buchenwald
(On an ocean of blood)
Drink some Schlitz if you make it to Auschwitz
Escape to Poland....(this part was illegible, i'm not sure what i wrote)
