Unless you really want a med that will take care of anxiety and nothing else, and don't want to get fucked up from it.... I say screw this, give me some diazepam or temazepam.

I dunno, i find just about every benzo except ativan to be extremely energetic and motivation geared....Especially klonopin to me, most clean and open eyes feeling, i believe this is because with anxiety you feel trapped in and social phobias are debilitating, so when you anxiety is gone you feel relieved and "Energetic" in a way that allows you to get out and not care about being judged etc...i think this is really common among those with anxiety....As for this benzo itself, maybe it does possess actual chemical stimulant effects but my benzos do just fine . . . plus maybe since its not for sale in the US, maybe stringent FDA laws find some fault in it, toxicity maybe?

Why would you think it's like Clobazam? They're way, way way different. Unlike Clobazam, tofisopam is a 2,3 benzodiazepine. They have very, very different affinities.

It has effects on both endorphins and is an AMPA antagonist.. I don't know much about AMPA antagonists.

This kinda reminds me of Tianeptine (Stablon) I'm currently taking, granted, that's an SSRE. It's also an anxiolytic and doesn't have any side effects, taken 3x a day (12.5mg x 3) and is not approved in the US but the company that's supposedly working on it will make something like that available for irritable bowel syndrome so I see a lot of parallels between the 2 drugs.

I have mild anxiety and so far have been on Stablon for 10 or so days and I did notice some reduction in anxiety and depression and ordered more to see if it works even better over a 3 month period.

Interesting, I wonder how it feels. Personally I don't mind taking therapeutic doses of benzos throughout the day when I need them. They are somewhat sedating, but not overly so. The idea of a stimulating benzo seems almost like an impossible concept since most stimulating drugs induce anxiety. I'd imagine that taking tofisopam would be like mixing valium and caffeine or something.

just mix some valium and caffiene and skip trying to get an impossible to find med that's not even worth the time? (Or in my case clonazepam and 5hr energy drink).
