I love small doses of dextrometorphan; Its anxiolytic effect is surprisingly nice. I also love gabapentin; Its anxiolytic effects blow benzo's out of the water. For some reason I decided to combine them and the result was phenomenal. Opiates, benzos, phenibut, amphetamines pale in comparison to this combo in my opinion.
I experimented with this combo at home first bc I wanted to test the waters before I went to work in case it was excessively inebriating. My mind remained surprisingly clear throughout this experiment so I felt it was alright to try out when I went to work.
Anxiety was the farthest thing on my mind at work. My muscles were relaxed and movement was very fluid. I easily talked to every customer I served. The most surprising part was people came up to me and talked to me about their lives without me even doing anything but stand there. Gabapentin seems to have empathogen qualities. I talked about and eagerly helped people with problems they were having. I seemed to be a people magnet. Smiles abounded among people when I was around and interacting with them positively. People seemed to respect me a lot more too. I flirted effortlessly with one of my cute coworkers. Social interaction was more rewarding than ever before in my life.
The effects I noticed were decreased tension, absence of pain(even the hard floors I was walking on seemed soft), warm feeling, energetic almost manic energy but easily controlled and channeled, I felt calm, capable and unshakably confident, ravenous appetite, increased libido, a pleasant body high that's hard to describe, and I was able to entertain large groups of people with very little effort. Everywhere I went the mood people were in seemed to change positively; I imagine that this is similar to the effects charismatic people can induce.
Overall I think occasional gabapentin and dextromethorphan use has had an extremely positive effect on my personal growth. I used to have little insecurities about stuff that nobody even notices or cares about. It shown me that I am capable of being an extrovert and I put in more effort to my social interactions now and am more willing to help people. The empathetic effects were a learning experience. It feels good to help people now even without being on this combo. My confidence is at an all time high now. I highly recommend this for anxious people. Ask your doctor if you have anxiety problems.
