8mL tincture of 50mg 7-hydroxymitragynine

the alcohol used in this is 190 proof. By my calculations, 1mL of this tincture should contain 6.25mg of 7OHM. Though I may have done my math wrong. I know people say that the good effects from Kratom come from the full spectrum of alkaloids and not just one, even though 7OHM is currently has the highest chance of being the most effective. Does I have a mg scale so does anyone know if I would be able to successfully evap the alcohol out of the mixture just leaving behind the pure 7OHM? That way it would be much easier to measure. Otherwise I will have to assume that 1mL of the liquid contains 6.25mg of 7OHM, and based on certain reports, I will have to guess that it is as potent as 37.5mg to 81.25mg of Morphine based on different estimates. So my question is, should I evaporate the alcohol and measure the powder of supposed pure 7OHM with my scale and go by that, or do my guestimations with the alcohol still in it? I am also getting a 3mL FST as well. I could mix the two of the together, but then I would have no idea what potency I would be working with. Ive read somewhere that 7OHM has a better oral BA than morphine and in one study it showed that it was 6x as potent as morphine orally whereas is it was only 2x as potent with an sc ROA. I have also read anywhere from 13 to 17x as potent as morphine. Has anyone had experience with pure7OHM? If so, does anyone have any advice for me? I do not plan to shoot it, since I am looking for harm reduction here. I also ordered a powder, could I pour the 8mL/50mg 7OHM on the powder and let the alcohol evap and create my own enhanced leaf?

Sorry for such as long post, I have just never had experience with 7OHM before and I wanna do it as safely as possible. Any input would be appreciated. thanks in advance!
 
It sounds like you've given it your best effort to be safe here.

I don't have any experience with pure 7-hydroxymitragynine, but why don't you pour and evaporate a small portion of it on a plate and see if you can scrape up powder after it dries? That way you can proceed like that if you want, and not risk ruining all of it or something like that.

Dose with the liquid and work your way up I would think. Start with 1ml or so maybe.

I'm not sure of your tolerance to opiates, but if you have one I think you should be able to sort of 'gauge an equivalent dose' to a drug you're more familiar with. I'm pretty sure 7-OHM is 17x the strength of morphine, but I did not know that those numbers varied so wildly.

do you think the 8mL/50mg would be more effective if I tested it without evaporating the alcohol? I was thinking of mixing it with 5mL of FSTs I am getting
 
Personally think that, as long as you weighed it out before, it should be fine. Evaporating off is gonna be pretty inaccurate as, with such small doses, you're gonna be losing a lot by scraping, transferring, etc.
 
^This. Most likely it's going to be a huge pain in the ass, and not worth the effort. I would just dose the liquid and skip all the extra stuff.
 
Is there any good way to dose the liquid? Should I shake it first before dosing? supposedly there is 50mg of 7OHM in the 8mL of alcohol which should mean if I took 1mL I hsould be getting around 6.25mg of 7OHM. is that the best estimate that I can use in regards to that? I thought about all the work I would have to do to get rid of the alcohol and you were all right, I would probably lose a fair amount with what little I have and it would be a huge pain in the ass anyway. Do you think my estimate of 6.25mg of 7ohm per 1mL alc is a good estimate to go by?
 
This is kind of off topic of the 7ohm but still with the tincture topic, I read somewhere that someone purchased a 2mL (kind of like the one I received) that claims to have 150mg of pure full spectrum alkaloids in it. Now I know you can snort kratom, but it is not advisable because of the amount of plant matter youd have to snort, but on the subject of evaping the alcohol, what if someone poured out some some of this FST and let it dry then crushed up the resin (i assume that is what would be left) and snorted that? since it should be just alkaloids with little if any plant matter, does any one thing that would work? I just pour my tinctures into some water and kinda of tosh n wash em, but i am in an experimenting mood and i got this 3mL tincture for free. my other 2mL tincture of MD extract is coming friday and my 7OHM is coming tomrorow. What do you all think of the attempting to insufflate the dried FST? if people have snorted the plant material before, I assume snorting the dried FST cant be NEARLY as bad, even if it does not work.
 
I poured some of the liquid out od the tincture and let it somewhat dry on pyrex and scraped it into a resin ball ( i guess its not fully dry yet) So I am gonna let it dry and then pulvarize it into a powder and see what happens. Any thoughts on snorting it?
 
I have Kratom experience, but only with Thai powder. I have done alot of reading on the subject, including the extracts, tinctures and other forms. I have read that the only way to properly consume it is orally. IV can be very dangerous, and I doubt that snorting is going to do the trick. Your tincture should have come with a dosage recommendation, and I'm honestly not even sure why you are trying to dry it out, as it is meant to be used as a liquid (a certain number of drops under your tongue or in your mouth). The dosage is going to be determined by the strength (5x, 10x, 15x, 50x). I would shake the tincture and then use a dropper to put drops in my mouth . .. ? If you purchased this tincture, you should be able to easily find via google how to take it . Do not EVER inject Kratom ingredients in any form. I've seen websites selling the tinctures and they all had very clear instructions on how many drops to use for maximum intensity of the "incense" effects .
 
Oh yea, I would NEVER IV kratom. I am just more into researching kratom and curious about how to make it snortable.
 
The vendor said that I could evap all the alcohol and create a powder from it. I ofcourse did not ask if it could be snorted because I would like to purchase from them in the future. but if it is just alkaloids, I dont see why it could not be snorted
 
Ok I now understand your goal. It took me about 10 seconds to find this subject on google. I wouldn't try it . Read some of the information easily available through google . If you have a strong tincture, use it the way it was intended. It appears that you can snort it, but even super enhanced dried and powdered extracts would still require such a large amount to snort (multiple grams) I personally think you're just best off using it the way it it meant to be used . This is my opinion, obviously, and you will do as you please, but at least do some research first. Google.com is always a good place to start .
