He died a few hours after I made that last entry. I don't know when the funeral is yet. My mom said she's guessing Tuesday or Wednesday. I don't know if I'll be able to go or not. I have a couple days vacation that I can use still, but I don't know if I can really afford to go.

I'd like to see my family over the holidays, but not under these circumstances. I hate funerals.

 

I'm sorry for your loss Kerry. The holidays are a particularly terrible time to lose a family member. You're in my thoughts. ::hugs::

i would try to make it to the funeral, i didn't go when someone close to me died awhile back and i ended up regretting it. it never quite felt like i had closure.

 

I'm here for you. I know exactly how it feels to lose a loved one over the holidays. Big hugs sweetie...don't worry too much if you can't be there for the funeral. What's more important is that he is with you in spirit, and knows how much you love him.
