Opioids 80mg Oxycontin - snort or sublingual? (old formula, NAPP's)

Hello guys,

I'm in Europe and here we have the good old oxys that can be broken to powder like U.S. oxys used to. They are made by NAPP here (in EU).

I am on 120mg methadone/day but am thinking of letting myself go into 85% full wd's and then snort/put the oxy under my tongue and letting it dissolve or use it nasally.

Please tell me, which method gives a better high? :)
Which method gives me most bang for my buck? ;)

What I'm looking for?
Nod, nod and some more nod! But I know oxy is more of a upper-opiate (if there is such a thing..) so the question once again is - which method is "better"/which method should I use?

I do NOT IV so don't suggest that, please.

Hey man, don't quote me on this, other more experienced posters may correct me, but 120mg of Methadone is a lot. I am saying, it is able to hold a full on hardcore heroin user out of WDs a lot.

What I am trying to say is, I think you have high expectations for 80mg of Oxy to have you nodding off your head. You may be disappointed, your tolerance is basically through the roof.

Anyway, snorting Oxycodone gives an initial rush that is subjectively more intense than taking it oral IME. Taking it orally however, has a higher BA. Not worth IVing anyway.

How many 80mg pill are you planning to take? If it is a single pill, you are going to be disappointed IMO.
 
I have a little over 30 pills at the moment but plan on taking 5 tabs MAX and that is exactly because of one thing - my tolerance. I used to IM ONE GRAM of 3-methylfentanyl/day for 2 years before going on done. started out at 360mg. Next day i went to the doctor and said "420mg, PLEASE" and that finally did the trick (eliminated the HORRIBLE 3-MF wd's).

Even after 76-77hrs without any methadone and shivering like mad while sweat is dripping on the keyboard while its 18C (68F) in the apartment. So, im in pretty "good wd's right now". I plan on taking the OXY80's in 60-120 minutes. I will watch one more episode of Dateline on ID (I LOVE true crime shows, its better than average sex :D (to me). not better than a good wank, though ;).

Someone smarter and more experienced - please give some guidance, I have these oxy's in front of me and have been without ANY methadone for 74 hours right now. i feel like SHIT but not like OMG SHIT. so im thinking i will take the 1-2 tabs of oxy80 in about 2hrs. I just cant stand watching these pretty green tabs anymore.

Someone please tell me from experience: to snort or to melt under tongue?

So, basically I should take 5 tabs up the nose? I hate snorting (i NEVER do amphetamines or anything else requiring snorting) so that sucks a bit but I guess if I must, I must. :)

If anyone else has more opinions, please keep them coming. I will check back before snorting the OXY's (since I understood snorting is a bit more "bang for the buck" ;)).

I have two replies: One says - snort it, the other - eat it. What should I do then? :S
I will wait 30 minutes and then I will consume 400mg oxycodone in the form of OXY80MG tabs, probably sniff 3 and put 2 under my tongue to melt if I don't get anymore replies. The methadone wd's are just too strong already (and its been 'only' 76-78 hours) and I cant watch these ~40 80's in a ziplock anymore.

Here's to hoping someone will be the tie breaker and will recommend either/or (nasal/sublingual).

Eat one snort one IMO and if you have that many 80s then you will definetly catcha nod. don't start off with 5. Eat one snort one and go from there. Be careful.

I decided to go with user "teological" advice - due to my tolerance (i can drink 500mg methadone and NOT nod a second for the whole 20 hours that it holds me....yes, even at 500mg it wouldnt hold me for 24-30hrs like i hear from others. I'm thinking my methadone wd symptoms might have been like the ones you get at day 10-20 but because of my abnormally quick consumption of ANY opiate by my body (or a benzo, for that matter-a xanax lasts me 2 hours TOPS, rivotril/klonopin about 5-6 before i need to but 10mg of xanax under my tongue to get the quickest relief.

So, I decided to snort all 5 tabs. the wd's are now pretty much gone (still not feeling TOTALLY normal) but im pretty sure im going to snort 5 more 80's (400mg+400mg) in an hour. as far as any high-right now its absolutely non-existant @ 400mg NAPP oxy sniffed.

Fukc I hate the nasal route... but i did some quick (2-3min) research and found that when snorted, it starts working quicker so at that point i just wanted to get rid of being without my methadone for 76-78hrs (dunno exactly, +/- ~1.5-2hrs)
 
should have eaten the other 5. How big was that line? lmao had to have been a nose clogger cuz ive sniffed 2 30s (actavis brand so they're small) and my nose was clogged. Do you have a oral syringe? plug them shits.
 
btw, i also have 100mcg patches of fentanyl made by Actavis and Richter Gedeon, both are 100mcg/h. how do i open the patch and smoke the fentanyl thats inside?

i stuck one on my hand like a quit-smoking patch, i dont expect any high from this, of course, but hope that it will possibly make the 400mg of oxy (eventually 800mg) work a little better.

would be interesting to smoke "regular" Fentanyl, since ive tried the 60-500x stronger version, 3-MF (3-MethylFentanyl, used it daily for 2.5 years. (we dont have heroin over here, only 3-MF - btw, one gram of 3-MF gets you 30-35 bags/doses). And i'm sure that out of that 1.0g, 0.8-0.9 is cut. Thats how potent it is. Yet its been the only opiate available to us since 2002 so everyone's gotten used to it and OD's are not happening 50-60 a night like the first week of October 2002 when heroin disappeared and 3-MF took its place. most junkies of course didnt listen to their dealer when they were told to IV 3-5 times less than normal. a typical junkie in my country (usually Russian) would IV 2 bags MORE when he hears talk like that from his dealer. Meaning, life is VERY cheap here among drug addicts.
Thankfully methadone is free for everyone and all for as long as you wish at whatever dose that you wish.
You start going Mon-Fri and after each 2 negative piss tests, you get one day off. I go once a week, so most of the other junkies who see me with my huge bottles must think I have come to claim methadone for 5 people or something :D. Bupe is also available but not for $/€0.00. one tab (8mg old-style Subutex costs 3EUR (~5USD). Hop on a boat for an hour and Youre in Finland where ONE 8MG Subutex street price is 25EUR (~32-35USD) in the Helsinki metropolitan area and up to 100EUR!!(~155USD)/PER PILL.
It is THE most abused hard drug in Finland. For the last 25-years it has always been amphetamine since Finns are very depressive and slow people and amphetamine is like water to a fish.
But since 2006, amphetamine is no longer the most used drug/most caught drug. Since 2006 to 2013, every single year, it has been Subutex tabs coming from at first France and later from my country. Here, NOBODY abuses bupe. NO ONE.

Crush it up into powder and wash down with a full glass of water. make sure you haven't ate anything in 3-4 hours. That's what I would do and I'm also on methadone.
 
Oral has the best duration and a great BA. Eat them. Or do what the guy above me said for quicker onset.

well, i have one 100mcg/h Fentanyl patch on my left arm, i sniffed 400mg of oxy and now all of the AWFUL 'done wd has subsided. I feel fine (normal).
But DEFINITELY no high. Going to put 400mg (5 80's) under my tongue right now and let them melt completely. I think that would be the next quickest onset after sniffing, correct?

And guys, thank You for caring, but dont worry about the "over-doing" part.

I have a HORRIBLE tolerance to both benzos and opiates (120mg done daily but can drink 500mg in one gulp and not nod for a second or feel NOTHING else even resembling an opiate doing its work and thats not 500mg of 'done 24hrs after last dose, more like 55-60h since last dose which i usually lower to a 100 to make the wd's come on quicker and therefore hope to get at least a codeine-type high from 500-600mg methadone but no cigar :(

On another note, I also managed to finally open one of the Actavis brand 100mcg Fentanyl patches. :)
will work on the other brand later but ~70% of the patches i have are Actavis anyway with the rest ~30% from Richter Gedeon (Both made in EU).

Going to smoke the whole patch right after the 5 80's have melted completely under my tongue.
Will post results later, if anyone's interested.

Here's the results.
400mg has melted and 2/3 of 100mcg of a fentanyl patch is smoked. at last i feel somewhat high. (also added 45mg midazolam, 7mg alprazolam, 5mg lorazepam). Feeling nice.

on the downside, though, it took:
1) one 100mcg/h patch on my arm thats been there for ~3hrs
2) 400mg oxy snorted, 400mg oxy sublingual
3) 2/3 of 100mcg fentanyl patch smoked
4) my usual benzos taken.

tolerance's a bitch. ;) :(

btw, plugging has ALWAYS seemed interesting to me (look at the year i joined this forum).
but ive never tried plugging as ive never had an oral syringe and wouldnt know how to ask for one in a pharmacy.
i also wouldnt know how to .... plug. also, as an opiate addict, i suffer from constipation (i go 1-2 times a week and then its a 10min marathon after which i feel 5kg (~10lbs) lighter :D

how potent would be 800mg of oxy plugged?

one litre of methadone? one gram of morphine? or not even close to those numbers?

I also had the opportunity to try OC 80 (old ones cause im in Europe) as i was on methadone. I also waited a good 48 hours after my last 120mg methadone when i took them, but i was absolutely disappointed. I was sweating and trembling when i railed a whole, and it barely touched me. With increased dosage, side effects increased also, it just felt as they could not saturate the receptors as good as methadone, possibly because of its lower receptor affinity. At least it was not a big waste of money, cause i got them cheap. On the other hand when i came off methadone after some abstinence (1 year+), 20-40 mg oxycodone gave me an euphoric, quite pushy high, absolutely loved the stuff. Its very nice if your receptors can appreciate them. ;)
 
Well, mixing Methadone and Oxycontin can be risky. But I'm sure you're already aware of the risk. I'm no doctor, but I would honestly recommend crushing up the oxy and taking like half of it under your tongue. It is my understanding that Oxycontin is simply Oxycodone with a time release matrix. So while taking the Oxycontin orally still gives a high, it is dosed out by your body over time. Snorting it or placing it under your tongue will give you the full effect, very quickly. That's why I would start with about half then give it a little time. If you're feeling like you want more, go for the rest. That's what I would do, any ways. Good luck!
