Long story short I have a pretty solid history of benzo use. Tried em all, like em all. Alprazolam is my favorite and what I am scripted. I take dosages ranging from 1 mg (to calm me before a test or something) to as high as like 8 mg for recreation. Typical dose if I'm just starting my day is like 4-5 mg of xanax with a cup of a coffee.
So I have never tried ambien and everyone always says how unique of an experience it is when you stay up after taking it. I always thought it was kinda stupid and never tried it until last night when my buddy brought over his script. Everyone was floored after 20-30 mg, but I ate 80 mg on an empty stomach over the span of about an hour and really felt nothing. Not even really tired. No noticeable anxiolysis or anything, either.
Is this strictly a tolerance issue?
