well worth watching.

simple awesome to hear someone of considerable public importance (and respect) speaking realistically about the war on drugs, and how it is a huge failure.

Saw this one. Surprising to see a judge with a bit of sense.

Hopefully the public won't shrug his valid opinion off. If there is anyone who should be giving an opinion on the matter it is a respected judge.

Many judges have a lot of sense but they are hamstrung by stupid legislation and outdated precedents.

Or they have to deal with judgments from the higher courts, which might be binding on the judges in the lower courts, which are divorced from the realities of what is happening on the ground.
