I have accidently taken 6500 mg of Tylenol is about 12 hrs will I be okay I know the limit on the bottle is 4000 mg in24 hrs but I'm pretty sure from what I've read that if i call poison control they. Will say I'm okay anyone with experience or that an just helpin General thx?

its cool. my friend once took 6g APAP in the night and then in the morning because he thought painkillers will help him sleep
fucking idiot.

yeah but you just should never do this again. no more than 2g at once and 3g in 2hrs

I once downed 9.5 g at once, followed by about a half liter of vodka. Liver enzymes showed mild-to-moderate damage (no doubt more from years of drinking heavily than the APAP), and I'm otherwise in good health. You'll be fine, but for the love of whatever deity you may worship, don't do it again.

If you're young and healthy then you need to take about 10gm of APAP before you should actually worry, even then, don't immediately panic.

If you start getting incredibly sick, vomiting, painful gut cramps, etc then you should see emergency services. Otherwise just take it easy and avoid alcohol and more APAP. Drink plenty of fluids and eat something protienacous, maybe some eggs or a ham sandwich.

Yes, if you suspect an APAP overdose, get to a hospital ASAP. Acetylcysteine is a well-established, widely available antidote for absorbed APAP. Activated charcoal will limit absorption as well. See more here.
