60mg Roxicodone? Need Help First Time

Hello, this is my first time posting here. I have recently acquired a round red pill with "60" on one side of it and an underlined "ON" on the other side. I have been told this is Roxicodone but I am not 100% certain and want to make sure. I currently have no tolerance to opiods and am living in Canada. I have a few questions before I even think about consuming this pill. What exactly is it? Based on my research, it appears to be a prolonged release Roxicodone pill. I want to be safe and avoid OD'ing and bad side effects. If this is indeed 60mg of prolonged release Roxicodone, what is my best route of consuming it? Should I simply break it into 1/4 pieces (15mg) and start with that? I was also seeing online that people shave it down with a nail-filer and let it soak in 7-up or any kind of pop for approximately 12 hours before drinking it to get the most euphoric experience possible out of it. My goal is to consume this safely, while also getting the most euphoric experience out of it as possible. I will not IV or plug, and based on my research there is no point in sniffing it as the bioavailability is higher when taken orally. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If it’s prolonged release, you can’t break it up or crush it.
And 60mg for someone with no tolerance is too much. I would say you cannot safely consume this. Maybe trade it for something else.

I don't see why I couldn't break it into 4 pieces and take 1 of them? Why can't I? According to my research, it says that even when broken up the active ingredients are still bound to the gel part of the pill and won't give you an immediate release. Can you please elaborate?

With no tolerance 15 mgs should be okay. Normally I would say 10 mgs but 15 will be good.

Physicians prescribe 10 mgs to people that have never taken opioids when they get injured or are in acute pain so even with no tolerance that is really close to a prescribed dose. Just make sure you get the tablet to equally divide into 4 pieces.

While it’s always good to do research, idk what research you’re referring to. It’s always been a rule of thumb for me to not tamper with extended release things. I wouldn’t take a chance with it personally.

I would not trust what people say. With 60mg, you could certainly overdose given you have no tolerance.

blah just do the 10 to 15mg aprxmnt dose and it will be ok. long as this is the only substance we are on. mixtures are funny.

I'm pretty sure the pharmaceutical companies made OxyContin—or any other extended-release opioids, for that matter—nearly impossible to crush/break, to prevent IV use and/or snorting. It never used to be like that back in the "pill mill" days, but they cracked down on opioid abuse pretty significantly this past decade or so.
