Hallo Bluelight people!
This is my first post and I wanted to know if the mixture of 6-APB + MDAI would be a good, bad or dangerous one.

Stats would be :

100mg MDAi + 100mg 6-APB
or
200mg MDAi + 100mg 6-APB

My stats: 80kg, 180cm, 22 years old.

6-APB potency is middle. MDAi is sparkle powder, nothing known about potency.

6-(2-aminopropyl)benzofuran or 1-benzofuran-6-ylpropan-2-amine (6-APB) is thought to be a stimulant and entactogen drug although to date, no authoritative source can say even whether or not it is psychoactive. Chemically, it is of the phenethylamine and amphetamine classes. It is an analogue of MDA where the 3,4-methylenedioxyphenyl ring system has been replaced with a benzofuran ring. 6-APB is also the unsaturated benzofuran derivative of 6-APDB.

There is currently no toxicology data available.

Pharmacology:

6-APB has not been properly assayed in terms of pharmacological action, but based on its chemical similarity to other amphetamines, it likely acts as a releasing agent of serotonin, nor-epinephrine, and dopamine.[citation needed] Its effects on monoamine release have not been validated but it may act as an agonist of the 5-HT2A and 5-HT2B receptors, the former likely explaining its purported psychedelic effects.

5,6-Methylenedioxy-2-aminoindane (MDAI) is a drug developed in the 1990s by a team led by David E. Nichols at Purdue University. It acts as a non-neurotoxic and highly selective serotonin releasing agent (SSRA) in vitro and produces mild entactogen effects in humans.

Chemistry:

The chemical structure of MDAI is indirectly derived from that of the illicit drug MDA, but the alpha-methyl group of the alkyl-amino amphetamine side chain has been bound back to the benzene nucleus to form an indane ring system, which changes its pharmacological properties substantially.[1]

Pharmacology:

MDAI has been shown to inhibit the re-uptake of serotonin, dopamine, and nor-epinephrine with IC50 values of 512 nM, 5,920 nM, and 1426 nM, respectively. This demonstrates that MDAI has selective affinity for the serotonin transporter (SERT). In animals treated with reserpine and MDAI, greater extracellular concentrations of monoamine neural transmitters resulted, most significantly serotonin. This result indicates that MDAI is a potent releaser of serotonin, while effectively inhibiting the re-uptake of serotonin. For comparison, MDAI is similar in potency with releasing serotonin to MDA but significantly less potent than MDMA. [9]

This is basically saying that each are (relatively) unstudied MDA derivatives just like 5-IAI or IAP/PAL-287/TAP/EDMA are, combining those would not be safe since taking even one of them could prove to be harmful because you are just the next testing phase for the next RC powder range being pushed by the big boys looking for a replacement for either new coke cuts or looking to replace coke altogether since the declining demand for the stuff due to the huge drop in quality/availability means less cash. Just my view from a 'personal observation' ;) :D

Go for the real deal: MD(M)A would be my advice, probably cheaper and the use of a test kit is even possible to check for impurities. :)

PMA or MPPP anyone? :\

I wondered the same thing, is this combo safe? I already tried some ecstasy pills (don't know the exact amount of MDMA) with MDAI and was awesome, but I don't know if it's safe.
