i've had 4 different samples of supposed 6-apb powder from 4 well respected vendors. the first 3 all tested to a somewhat dark green immediately with no color change using mecke and seemed to give effects in line with what they should, although we are going off a bunch of reports of who knows what given all the crap that has surrounded this chemical since it became available. i'm confident that all 3 are different synths.
the most recent batch tested a dark burgundy/black. i've seen so many different reactions for 6-apb or what is being represented as that, i don't know what to think. i'm not aware of any other compounds that test dark green with mecke. and sorry i don't have any other reagents. i've used the search function and i did look at the awesome thread with all of the reagent test results for lots of compounds. thanks for any help or input on how 6-apb should react with mecke and what the green stuff might be.
edit: just thought i'd add that there is a very different smell between the two different chems. the black has a pretty sweet smell where as the green ones have a very chemically smell. hard to break it down further than that but i figured it was worth mentioning.
