As background, I've been using intoxicants for 15 years, having sampled nearly all the 2c's, many tryptamines, lsd, mushrooms, lots of molly, etc.
So my wife and I decided to give these 5/6-apb pills a spin - supposed to be pretty nice but not too overwhelming. I believe the doses were 50mg/60mg but not sure which was which. I have no prior experience with the apb class of RC's. They were orange hard pressed pills in a hexagonal shape.
Sorry if the trip report is lacking in details, there isn't a whole lot to say (that doesn't mean these aren't wonderful)
We dosed at 7:40pm on totally empty stomachs.
At T+1hour I felt a definite alteration - it was like rolling but much milder. My wife on the other hand was getting very strong visuals when objects were in motion, getting tracers on just about anything. She started feeling these at roughly a half hour after taking it.
The headspace at this point was difficult to describe - basically like a lighter, easier going version of molly; there wasn't a massive wave of euphoria, but the body and mind high were wonderful nonetheless.
At T+2 hours we'd both settled into a state which would last for the next 13 hours or so. Honestly I think it ranks up there in my top five intoxicants. It was long lasting, so there was never any fiending for more or needs keep doing dips or lines. It almost felt like a very slow, steady release of dopamine....the body high was just fabulous. Mindfuck non-existent. I never really got any visuals, although I rarely do on any drugs other than high doses of 2C's. Wife was still seeing tracers but it wasn't bothering her like it was when it first kicked in.
We both agreed over the next several hours that we'd essentially plateaued - it wasn't really getting any weaker but certainly not stronger either. It was just...bliss. A light roll that lasts 13 freaking hours! Body felt like I was floating on clouds, although when navigating the house my balance was off. Pupils were dilated as hell well into the next day.
At about 7.5 hours we both started to feel quite tired, although I remember remarking to her "I feel so good, why would I want to go to sleep?" Well that wouldn't matter because no sleep would come to me anyways. The wife was able easily fall asleep.
At T+8.5 hours I decided to do a line of M1, which immediately made the body/brain high *that* much better. Typically I wait at least an hour between M1 doses, but I took another at T+9.
At 5:30am, 11 hours after the dose, I called it quits and laid in bed. And laid in bed. I know the M1 certainly had an impact as I never can fall asleep if I dose M1 after 9pm or so. But really, I was still rolling/tripping from the 5-apb / 6-apb.
So I laid in bed tossing and turning, still feeling wonderful, like a set of clothes fresh out of the dryer. Totally clear headed, no CEV or OEV by this time. I had to wake up at 9am, 3.5 hours after lying down. When I got up and showered, I was still quite a bit wobbly and my pupils were still enormous. However the wife's father was coming over soon for some housework. I took 4 tylenols, a cup and a half of coffee and chugged some water. I was obviously dead tired from no sleep, but I was able to pull it together and get a ton of work done around the house, with the father in law none the wiser. My wife says she was still tripping pretty hard and spent most of the time he was there playing with his new puppy rather than need to interact with us.
All in all, I give this 2 thumbs up. The length of the experience (roughly 13-15 hours) was great, although obviously next time I won't have the in-laws visiting. The experience itself was damn near perfect - no "omg I love you" rolling, not "I'm an arrogant cock" coke, it wasn't really speedy despite being an amphetamine. I'd say this would best be utilized in one of three places: 1) Home with significant other and no duties or responsibilities for 24 hours 2) A festival due to it's length and mellowness 3) Camping
I'd love to know more about the metabolization process these chemicals undergo - does the oxygen on the pseudo methlenedioxy ring get cut off and the chain opens up? As I said, these chems don't seem to have too much information out about them, but anything would be appreciated. With that said, above was my two cents about this combo. Awesome, warm and fuzzy and not overwhelming in the least.
