Benzos .5mg Xanax, better to snort or eat?

I picked up about 5 .5mg footballs the other night to comedown from a 2 day meth binge. I had no experience with benzos until last night. Wow, am I glad those exist. I'm sure I don't need to remind anyone here how helpful they are.

Somehow I only have 1 left, I can't remember why or how I did the rest of them. I have no tolerance. A lady friend is coming over to drink, I've had a couple of shots of vodka already and I'm planning on taking the last one. I read that since its not solluble in water it's a waste to snort it since its mostly fillers and binders and it's bad for your nose yada yada, only time you'll feel it is from the drip.

I think I railed a couple of them last night and I think I remember it working. I just want to make the most of what I have left, so should I dissolve it under my tongue or just rail it? I know it's not much, but I don't like to waste anything.

As a side note, .5mg isnt dangerous to mix with alcohol, right? I've hears stories but...it's only .5mg. How much can I drink before having to worry about anything?

Never snort benzos! Sublinqual them. Keep your alcohol intake to a minimum, 2 drinks max. You have no tolerence and mixing CNS depressants can be very dangerous.
 
Yeah there are some people in my City that are so fucking retarded and snort benzos. Like, fuck, do some research for fuck sakes. Straight common sense not to snort a benzo EVER. You won't feel shit from snorting any benzo. Just fucking taking them Orally, or Sublingual.

And with that said, I'll close this. As everyone else has said, snorting benzo's is a waste, especially with Alprazolam. stick it under your tongue, you'll get effects within five minutes.

Also, .5mg is not a huge dose, but whenever you mix different CNS depressants, you enhance the effects of usually one or the other (or you just get a messy potentiation of both), which can be dangerous. No one can tell you whether you'll be safe or not, but I'd advice against it. Overdose is probably unlikely, but you have a good chance of a black out which is obviously not good either.
 
Thanks for the advice. I ended up getting pretty drunk and popping half of it because I'm super sketchy about these sorts of thigs and didn't want to take my chances. Black out like the verge of consciousness, but I wasn't light headed. I grabbed a can of soda for some reason and went to go sit on the toilet. Every step towards the bathroom I could feel my consciousness closing in on me and I was uncoordinated and stumbling and shit. I also think it may have been a panic attack of some sorts, as after sitting on the toilet (idl why I did that) I regained my composure but still had to move about slowly, my mind was racing and I felt that dizzy weird feeling coming on every time
I had an anxious thought so I just had to keep saying things to myself like "ok, I'm walking, I'm holding a can, I'm breathing." it calms me down.

How the hell can you have a panic attack on an anti-anxiety medication? Any idea what that was? Was really intense and scary as shit.

I feel so stupid.
 
This had got to be the most common question asked on here.
Benzos work best when taken as directed!
 
Sounds like a bad synergy between the alcohol and the Xanax. You said you had been drinking. Since your body was already in the process of digesting alcohol, when you added the Xanax it took longer to digest and absorb and lead to a messy potentiation of both substances. This is probably why you felt sick and dizzy for a little while. This is why it's better not to mix these two substances, or better yet any substances.
